Perfect for a quiet getaway for couples... and also great for families with children.

Total oasis 15 mins from the airport. One of the only swimmable beaches and it’s lovely, with gentle waves in the morning and tree swings overlooking the shore. Incredible deep adult pools, impeccable service, delicious food at every restaurant, family areas with games, walkable shopping area. Transferred from another hotel on the east side for this and so grateful we did. Fully recommend. Only thing I would’ve liked would’ve been loungers and service on the beach.

Facilities including room condition were aged but well managed and cleaned. But should accept a little rusty tap water from and some ants in the room. All of the staffs were so kind, especially the staffs in the kids club provide good care for the kids. Foods in the restaurants were also great.

This is an amazing resort set in lush greenery facing the Andaman Sea. The setting is stunning. The kids club is the best we have ever seen and we had to drag the kids out of there to take them on excursions. The pools are lovely and the kids’ pool is great for those who are not confident swimmers. The slide is popular although it needs to be restored as it has some rough edges (not that it bothered the kids). The rooms are nice but there was a distinct smell of must from some of the bedding. This was slightly off putting. Also, the shower door let a lot of water through and the main faucet didn’t work. Not a game changer although it would have been nice if everything worked. We ate in all of the restaurants and the service was okay. There was often a lot of confusion over what we had ordered and some things never showed up at all, despite the staff being absolutely lovely. The food was good when it did show up. There is a spectacular fire show on the beach twice a week, which was a huge hit with adults and children alike. There is a massage shack on the beach where locally trained ladies deliver a variety of massages suited to everyone’s taste. Overall, we had a fabulous stay here and would definitely recommend it. We would put up with the few niggly problems again as the resort it so lovely. The pros definitely outweigh the cons by a huge amount.

Huge property with lots of activities for kids. Maintenance could be better, it's a very old property. Staff were generally very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast spread, but food in the restaurants were not that good, and expensive too.

The kids club is the best thing about this hotel. The people there are great! Thank you. The rest, needs work.

We stayed at the JW Marriott in Phuket for 8 nights with our 13 months old boy and had the most amazing stay. Not only was the weather perfect for this time of year (no signs of any monsoon) but we were treated to above and beyond levels of service from all staff across the resort. 
What made the trip particularly special was how well the staff took care of our 13 month old. From observing that our hands were full with our baby during breakfast and offering to help out with bringing us anything at all from the buffet, to keeping him entertained for hours at the kids club, even taking him away for a walk to visit the kitchen during dessert time so that my wife and I could enjoy some quiet time over dinner. I have never seen this level of proactiveness and attention at a resort. The restaurant options are outstanding, the beach extremely clean even though we couldn’t swim (monsoon season means the wind comes onshore) although it didn’t matter as the main pool with slide and kid area was more than enough for our needs. 
Special shout-out to Rachen, Teya, Mock, Ladda, Phon and Gift at the buffet breakfast, in fact outstanding service from all the staff at breakfast. You really made us feel like family. 
To all the wonderful girls at the kids club, you were amazing with our baby boy. 
To all the staff at the Cucina Italian Restaurant, thank you so much for a fantastic experience, to all the staff at the Deli Cafe and Benihana for your warm service…

The staff were very informed and very helpful. All our needs were met with prompt and courteous attentive staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable, attention to detail did not go unnoticed by our family. Overall a very pleasant and satisfying experience. Would recommend all that stay at the resort to dine at JW cafe; the buffet was outstanding and I highly recommend the signature French toast, you won't regret dining on this delicious French toast.
