Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort

Me, my husband and 8 month child loved the stay. We upgraded to the Sea View room and loved it, the spa on the balcony was perfect for bathing the little one. Great service and good buffet. Eateries and convenience surrounds the property. We will be back, thank you Avani.

Overall, a nice place to stay with family with young kids. Our stay was nice and comfortable...I recommend the Panorama view room (showers are a bit of a challenge and the water almost trickles out of the sprout!). The hotel is right of the most happening road-strip in Krabi. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, fast food, 7-Eleven etc. are super close. The cost of stuff, especially meals, matches that of Singapore. After visiting various attractions in the day time, we enjoyed taking relaxed walks by the beach in the evening or night. Also worth adding is the foot massage experience..was very relaxing!

Breakfast was amazing, staff was so kind and friendly and accommodating. It was nice they had a tourist desk so that helped with booking activities. They were doing construction above our room for most of our stay so that was loud but luckily only during the day. The pools are lovely, but at times had multiple kids in it. Would definitely recommend designating separate kid and adult pools

When we first got there, they asked us “maybe wrong hotel?” And yes, it’s a bit more pricier than other places..but we just took the CA bar exam and needed a relaxing resort. I stayed with two friends, we are under 30. They were very rude to us and gave us a room where there was a bar across the street. At night until one am the music was so loud from the bar, it was like we were in the bar. We complained and they moved us to a smaller room, we complained again...this was a full day ordeal..and finally they gave us a comparable room they initially said we would have to pay 500 bar extra for every night. Why would we have to pay to get a room where we can actually sleep? The staff was rude, never told us about happy hour or any of the free amenities included in our stay. The property is very nice, staff and hospitality very lacking if you are not a family or over 30 years of age.

I visit Krabi often and I'm always grateful when I can secure a reservation at the lovely Aonang Cliff Beach Resort. I think this hotel is most ideal for couples seeking solitude and romance, and secondarily for families depending on the type of room chosen. I especially love the ocean view rooms. Although these rooms require a bit more effort to get to since the hotel is built on the side of a cliff, I find the extra effort well worth it due to the lovely view. My wife and I love taking a warm bath on the balcony while sharing a bottle of wine and taking in the majestic view. (The bottle of wine is complementary if you book through Expedia). The food and accommodations are superb and represent good value, but it's the employees that really distinguish this hotel in my opinion. While most hotels in this area have high turnover rates in staff, Cliff Beach employee turnover is quite low which I believe is reflective of good management and smart hiring. Employees tend to refer to you by name and guests tend to remember the names of the employees as well. Regardless of position, staff members were very attentive and motivated to assure we had a great stay. At the risk of making Aonang Cliff Beach Resort more popular than it already is, I can assure you there is no place I would rather stay in Krabi Thailand. I highly recommend it.

The food in the hotel is nice and with reasonable price. The hotel can simply fulfil all your needs in Krabi and good location. About 5-10 minutes walk to the beach at the heart of Aonang, great place for family gathering ...
