Townhouse Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel, it ticked all the boxes for us. We arrived at around 9 am after 2 long flights from NZ. It was very easy to find the hotel, a short 2 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof (which was an easy 10 min train ride from the airport). We were upgraded on arrival so that we could check into a room straight away. We appreciated this so much as it gave us a chance to freshen up, head out for a while and return for an afternoon nap. Breakfast was not included in our room rate but we had the continental breakfast for CHF 15 pp which was plenty. There is a Migros a short walk from the hotel to get snacks and easy lunch and dinner supplies plus the Hauptbahnhof has plenty of eateries to choose from. All the central tourist spots are a short walk away and there are trams and trains at your disposal if you want to go further afield. There was some noise at night from a bar or club but it was far enough away to not be a problem for us and earplugs are provided if needed. We highly recommend staying here for the service, convenience and price point in an expensive city. It is a small hotel with a family feel to it - loved it!
