Novotel Zurich City West

Very nice hotel with a big room, big bed and sleeping sofa where the 2 kids slept. Breakfast was very good and small swimming pool downstairs. Nice service and everything was great.

Had a great stay with my family. Lovely hotel, clean room, very convenient location, great breakfast options. Kids loved playing in the pool. Would definitely come back.

This property engages in the practice of renting your prepaid room to someone else if you arrive late, say after 10pm, banking on you might not show up until the next day, then they make double the money on your room. I arrived at 12:30am due to flight delays, my room was “oversold” and they sent me to another hotel. They did this even though my family had checked into their rooms already for our 3 nights stay and told them that I’d be arriving late. Even though the hotel covered all the expenses of sending me to another hotel for one night, including taxi service, it’s still a very poor experience. My son and I were exhausted from traveling for over 20 hours to get there, the additional hassle was not appreciated. Furthermore, it should be illegal to give away a room that was prepaid for a specific property. I do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a little bit outside of the city center. It was easy enough to get around and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the area. The pool was nice and my kids had fun playing in it after a long day. The room was very small and tight for a family of four but we made it work. The refrigerator is also very small so we couldn’t stock up on drinks.

Family room size very small. Not worth the money charged for a family room. Location very good, close and easily commutable.

Amazing hotel overall. Brilliant service with the late welcome and check in. However the virtual concierge did not work and the front desk never got back to us about a request for another blanket. But we still had a fabulous stay. The buffet breakfast is worth the extra fee. And the kids loved the swimming pool. Excellent coffee in the rooms. We didnt want to leave.

Nice rooms, easy walk to good eating places, kid friendly and safe environment

Good stay for the family. Tram located nearby. Several shops in the area make it convenient to grab essentials. Pool was nice and clean.

Hotel looks 3 starts. Very basic and extremely small. Bathrooms unlockable. Room are small. Staff are friendly. There is a kids area outdoor which is good

We stayed 3 nights at the Novotel. It was a nice hotel - kids enjoyed the pool and swings. The breakfast was good and the front desk staff were friendly. It was very busy though and it felt like the staff were overwhelmed. The pool area didn’t have any towels and it took over half an hour to bring some. The garbage cans were overflowing at times as well. We just accepted it for what it was and had fun though. The rooms were clean and the area was interesting - nice restaurants within walking distance and not too far from the main part of Zurich.
