We were charged additional fees upon arrival for our son, the website stated that the child age was up to 17 when we booked, but at the property it was actually 15, this cost us an additional 240CHF. We payed £250 per night to stay at this 4 star hotel only to be told that we would have to pay extra for tea and coffee in our room! It was our first trip to Switzerland, we soon realised that if you want to see the best this beautiful country has to offer, Geneva is NOT the place to be!

We had a strange check in experience. At first, it was the best check in experience i ever had. Very thorough. She said she placed us in back of hotel to avoid noise. When we got to our room, there was a baby crying next door & a terrible view, so we called the front desk & asked if we could move rooms. They said yes & when i returned to the front desk the same person who checked us in gave us the hardest time moving rooms & made a rude remark that if the next room had a crying baby next door she couldn’t move us. Her demeanor completely shifted & made me feel completely uncomfortable for the rest of my stay.
Too bad because it was a nice hotel. Maybe dont lie to customers and tell them you are placing them in back due to noise level when you clearly dont care which noises actually bother us. City noise over crying babies any day.

The hotel room and services equivalent to 1 star Motel not 4 stars hotel . Food is really expensive and the quality is bad. Staff are friendly but non French speakers will face a challenge.
On the second day, a big part of ceiling’s paint fell on my son at 6 am while sleeping, you can imagine the drama and even though they moved us to a suite 8 hours after the incident.
One last thing, the prostitutes in Geneva stand all day and night just few steps from hotel if you have a family you will have to deal with every time you enter or leave the hotel. You will be tempted by hotel prices but STAY AWAY even if its $ 100 a night , TRUST me it will ruin your visit.

The hotel is in very bad neighborhood, prostitution and gangs on each corner of streets.
My mother was robbed in hotel’s lobby. Her pours was stolen when we checked in.
The tiffs are in hotel’s lobby and staff know that. This hotel is unsafe and dangerous specially for family. This hotel should not be advanced by you.

The hotel is situated in very bad neighborhoods in town. My mother’s purse was stolen when we checked in. There’s prostitution in every corner of that street. The hotel personal knows about the thief activities in hotel and still allow them to be in the lobby. It’s very dangerous for family to stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel, pleasant bar and good staff. Breakfasts were good.
The rooms are a good size, and nice large comfortable beds
Quiet also
But the only negatives are the hotel is in the red light district so you go past solitary pimps standing on all the local corners. They are not intrusive, and there is no active soliciting or obvious women touting for business, just the silent men standing there waiting to be approached. ie it is present but not obvious or inappropriate. It feels safe, but i wouldn't want to explain it to children
