Hotel Cubo

We like everything about the hotel except for two things: 1. There was a miscommunication regarding breakfast. We were told that breakfast was included so we had breakfast at the hotel everyday. At checkout, we found that our room didn't include breakfast. We paid for all breakfasts that we had at the hotel. No issues but had we known this, we would have taken the opportunity to try out the cafes around the area on some mornings. Breakfast however at the hotel was very nice. Good value. Service at breakfast was exceptional. Luca brightens up the place when he's there. There was one day that he had a day off and the place noticeably was missing his smiles and bright personality. I still would recommended this hotel to friends and family. And even if not staying at this hotel, try out their breakfast. 2. The walls of our room had marks on them. A lick of paint on the affected areas would have made a huge difference.

Hotel is modern. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Single rooms are small, typical of European hotels. Double rooms and junior suites are good size. Breakfast is amazing, creative and tasty. Location is excellent, close to shopping and restaurants. Ljubljana Castle and all other museums and must-see spots are walkable. Parking is valet. Transportation is convenient. Will stay again.

We stayed in the junior suite at Cubo and had an incredible stay. From the second we arrived the staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly attentive. The suite was lovely, free mini bar and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was incredible, it was all absolutely delicious and just kept coming!
