I booked this hotel for the night prior to flying out Lisbon as it was a 4-star rated hotel. It did not feel like a 4-star rated hotel, a 3-star at best. I also booked this hotel because they offered transportation to the airport. But since I had a very early flight, I had to depart the hotel at 3:00 am and there was no transport to the airport at that hour. I ended up taking a taxi to the airport. The a/c did not work in our hotel room, so it was uncomfortable. The restaurants in the area were targeted toward college students so there were many bars in the area. It was not a good area to walk to a restaurant. The only positive was the soccer match of Portugal vs Finland on June 4 that was across the street from the hotel. All the kids wearing #7 jersey for Portugal for Ronaldo. And watching people trying to find parking. In retrospect, I would just stay at a hotel at the Lisbon airport.

Nice but dated hotel in the Campo Grande área. Very close to two university campuses and the Jardim Mario Soares. Quick walk to Metro station, and super easy to get in the bus or in a taxi. Very good breakfast buffet, but the rooms are a bit outdated. Had a great time with the family!

Great spot close to the airport. Can easily hop on the Metro “Campo Grande” stop and be in the city center within 25 minutes. Also close to the Jose Alvalade Stadium.
Nice and solid hotel, exactly what our family needed. Helpful staff as well.

One night stay with our family prior to an early flight. The hotel is outdated, surprised it is 4 star!! The price was too high for the condition of the hotel!

I specifically asked for the 2 rooms to be on the same floor (I'm traveling with my family of 3 kids)... They put us on 2 separate floors.
I specifically asked for 2 double bed rooms... They gave me 2 rooms with king beds... I had to wait for an extra bed.
I called them 3 times during my trip in Portugal to make sure they worked to have my requests done... Nope... they could care less.
Needed food after 10:30 PM. NOPE. Kitchen and Room service closed at 10:30 PM.
I booked closed to the airport to use the hotel shuttle... NOPE! The shuttle was already booked up so I had to pay for my taxi to the airport....
Not good for what I paid for.

The room we had booked was yet to be cleaned when we arrived at 7.30pm. The new room we were given was of a lower standard than the one we needed (junior suite) so we had to wait whilst the original room was cleaned. The manager was quite aggressive when dealing with the issue. The only positive is the hotel eventually agreed to providing a free dinner (after offering a free breakfast that we couldn’t make). The taxi ordered for 5am didn’t turn up either, but it’s hard to pin that on the hotel.

Checked later after a long trip and delays, very friendly staff, accommodating. Close to everything you really need in Lisbon, Portugal. Definitely recommend it and would stay again. One more thing we were traveling with my five year old. So yea I would recommend it for travelers with family.

The Radisson Blu hotel in Lisbon is a decent place to stay, with both positives and negatives to consider. The location of the hotel is definitely a plus point, as it is situated near the city center and in close proximity to major tourist attractions. The Jardim Mario Soares, which is located nearby, is a wonderful place to walk with your family.
The room at the hotel was spacious and quiet. Despite being close to the airport, the sound isolation of the windows was very good, ensuring that the outside noise was not heard in the room. The room had a large King Size bed and a couch-bed, providing ample space for guests.
However, the service at the hotel could be improved. Although the cleaning service was good, the hotel did not provide basic amenities such as water bottles, sugar, and coffee on a daily basis. This lack of attention to detail is disappointing, especially when staying for an extended period.
Furthermore, the hotel charges 1 euro per luggage to measure the weight, which is an unexpected and unnecessary expense. This is something that could have been free for the guests.
In summary, the Radisson Blu hotel in Lisbon is a decent option for those looking for a convenient location and a spacious, quiet room. However, the lack of attention to detail in the service, combined with unexpected charges, could be improved to enhance the overall experience.
