Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport

Room very clean… bed and pillow comfortable. Breakfast was not to my liking, but perhaps for the Europeans…. But plenty of variety of restaurants and shopping very close by from 5 to 10 minutes by car or Uber….. no swimming pool, so not for family vacation type.

My family and I had a great experience at the hotel and will return.

Electric Kettle Temperature Controlled Room Mini Refrigerator Large TV King Size Bed Large Bathroom Built-in toiletries in the shower Room size is good for 2 adults and 1 child Room had a futon (appeared to be a full size bed) Good amount of wall outlets (2) Window roller shades for privacy Wardrobe has a built-in light that turns on when opened There were a good selection of breakfast items More than (2) elevators for convenience Elevators controlled by using room key in order to select floor number Nearby grass areas for walking pets - Shower door doesn't close all the way - No infant crib in the room - Vehicle parking spots are tight, recommend widening each spot by 2 feet - Smoking area is too close to the entrance of the hotel, recommend moving it away from the entrance - Hotel was reserved through Expedia which included free breakfast and parking, Hotel front desk representative (first name started with "A") said there is no free parking, thankfully, the Filipino representative next to the first representative noticed the note on their monitor that free parking was included on my reservation

We stayed for 8 nights. The hotel is excellent for the facilities at the price. In fact, it was the best option with breakfast included. The breakfast was really important as we had a kid and there was nothing around within walking distance. The property is not close the Schiphol Airport. The shuttle was really helpful. It can get tight if there are more passengers, as it is on a first-come basis. I have seen at least twice when someone has to take the next shuttle. Onsite laundry machines would have helped families that are traveling with kids.

Still a great hotel! Allready 5 times stay the night with my family in this amazing hotel.

Inexperience staff, really messed up booking as we gad requested prior to have adjoining rooms as we travelled with young kids but did not get it. Also shuttke service aas not prebookable and of course way too many people needed to get to airport at same time. Hotel itself is outdated, curtain blinds are simple roll ups with broken mechanisns, very tough to operate. Not wirth the money and do not recommend when travelling with young childeren

The hotel itself was satisfactory; however, I was taken aback by the lack of flexibility when I needed to alter my plans to accommodate my two children. Unfortunately, I discovered that my only choices were to cancel or reserve an additional room, which was not in my original plan and proved to be quite costly. It was disappointing to find that there was no possibility to upgrade to a more spacious room or even to share a single room, considering my children's young ages (6 and 4 years). Unfortunately, the situation was not ideal as I had to share one room with a child while my wife occupied another room.

The location is super handy to Schiphol, which was great. We arrived and checked in - went up to our room. The key wouldn’t work, so a cleaning staff let us in. Room was dirty, bed a mess, etc. Went back down to check in, where we were told that an incorrect number was written for our room number - all good. A super helpful (and profusely apologetic) staff offered to accompany us up to our actual room to make sure the baby crib was set up as requested. It was not. In all - nice enough hotel and facilities, but organization/attention to detail might be a little sub-par.

Very spacious room, especially when you travel with kids.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are efficient and very accommodating. The food and the breakfast buffet were delicious and has a lot of variety for everybody to select from. The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and navy to the airport is very efficient. I will recommend this place to my friends and family.
