Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark

Staff were disappointing. Did not change our towels as we requested twice. Did not vacuum the dirt in the hallways for 3 days. Unable to answer any questions about transportation or local activities without consulting ‘Google’. Rooms are fairly small for such a big building- to accomadate our family of 4, we needed 2 rooms (double cost). Breakfast costs twice what it should. & they don’t have any tissue boxes! It is convenient to the tram stop, to go downtown. Would not return due to poor service.

Our room was not cleaned, even when we asked multiple times for it. our safe did not work, someone had to config it. the telephone was not configured and not pluged in, also no numbers where saved (e.g. for reception). overall a disappointment as a family.

The location was perfect for our visit. Close to family, a tram stop, across from a wonderful park and petting zoo. The breakfast buffet was delicious and view spectacular. The transport from and to the airport was an extra bonus.

We chose to stay at the Leonardo Hotel on recommendation from a family member who stayed here. The hotel is lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and travelling was easy to and from on the trams, the tram stop is just around the corner. Floor 17 bar was lovely with great views over Amsterdam. We hadn't booked breakfast originally as I'd seen mixed reviews but decided to try 1 morning on arrival, for ease... we then booked the second day it was so nice. Again, with views over Amsterdam what better way to start the day. This change to our booking was easy and staff were happy to help. The only minor issue was that the shuttle bus wasn't available on the afternoon we were leaving as it states online. This meant we had to find alternative travel to the airport. It is very minor and after a full 3 days travelling a taxi was welcomed by us both.
