I was a little weary of staying at this Resort because of the reviews. But, it was within our budget for my family of 5 and I was booking last minute. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Ventus Ha is the smallest resort of the 3 but you do have access to the other 2 as well. The resorts are beautiful and maintained. Staff is attentive. Meals were of what is to be expected in an all inclusive and my family is not picky. I didn’t have to cook, breakfast, lunch nor dinner so I am not complaining. We had no issues with our room. Night entertainment could do with some improvement. But overall my family of 5 enjoyed this resort and would recommend it!

If you are looking for a quiet newer hotel, come here. Resort is super clean. Food is pretty good.
3 resorts combined. We stayed at Ventus-Ha in a 2 bed/3 bath which was amazing especially during Hurricane Beryl.
With kids staying at Marina is more worth it. Main pool is there.

The beach is filled with seaweed with swamp smell, so you can’t really swim there. Ventus Ha is on the other side of the beach. It’s a bit new building but their regular rooms are small for a resort. I reserved 2 rooms and we had to pay extra ($257) for each room for an upgrade for us to fit comfortably :( The upgraded room had a huge living room/dining area with a nice king size bed, but the other connecting room was a regular room- which was not worth paying for that upgrade. They charge a $50 resort fee for each room that included access to WiFi for only 2 devices, which I felt was too much since we already paid a lot for the room thru Expedia. Only 1 restaurant was accessible to get breakfast or lunch at the Ventus Ha side and the rest are on the other side of the compound which you have to take a golf cart ride that is sometimes a long wait. It was a little bit inconvenient when traveling w kids and seniors. They don’t offer food by the pool. Their room service food is not that great. I was only able to make the restaurant reservations after checking in and all the only available times were for the next day or after 8:45pm. Do try to reserve ahead if you can. Also, the place was a bit confusing to find activities. This was my 3rd time in Cancun and first time for my parents. Aside from the wonderful staff, I wouldn’t really recommend this place for the price we’ve paid for limited activities and access to food.

We just came back from our vacation. 2 adults and 3 children under 6. We had an amazing time. The food was fantastic the resort was beautiful and clean and the staff were amazing. The beach is not good but there was 7 amazing pools to make up for it. The butler service was so nice and kind and caring. We booked a private transfer from MTS travel off Expedia and they exceeded our expectations. They were informative and on time and checked in on us to confirm pick up. I am so happy we booked through Expedia

This is my second time at this resort. The first time was in the summer and was their busy season. Do not go during off season, the pool is freezing and doesn’t seem as clean as the summer time. The service is not great, the food for some reason was not as great either. The properties are pretty far from each other, finding someone to drive you anywhere in a golf cart is long and difficult without feeling like a nuisance. One night I ordered room service at 930pm, they said 40 min. At. 1030pm I called asking what happened they asked for my order again to ask the kitchen. Kids and I fell asleep and were awaken at 12:15am with knocks on the door with our order. The resort was NOT packed, yet it was difficult to receive reservations anywhere and the buffet restaurants weren’t great. I was super disappointed this time around. Entertainment for kids at night is not great either and again, their beach is awful so don’t count on your average clear water white sand cancun beach.

All inclusive with great food options. Staff is friendly, helpful and always welcoming. Our room was great. The different options for kids was a major plus. Was pleasantly surprised at how much we loved the place. Definitely will visit again.

We (2 adults, 3kids(2,5,&7)) stayed at this resort for 2 weeks in February. We ended up in a room below the roof top pool. Unfortunately we ended up very sick with a respiratory illness for 11 of our 15 day stay. High fevers, coughing snot. We are incredibly healthy people so to be so violently ill for so long was very confusing. Fast forward to day 9 of my illness. I got up and started cleaning our room. There was water on our floor. I had noticed water damage stains on our wall the day we checked in but due to getting sick so fast into our stay it was pushed into the back of my mind. We called the staff to let them know that there was water leaking from the wall in our room. They came and inspected it and informed us to move right away. I packed all 5 of us up and, with three sick kiddos into a new room. The new room’s patio door would not latch. we ended up with extremely wet floors. The bedding was damp and my kids were coughing like crazy. They said we could move but it was already 10:30pm. Kids were asleep and I would have to pack again. Next morning they moved us to a very large beautiful suite for our last night at the resort. This was our first day we were all well enough to get out of the room. Not their fault we got sick. However, I am very certain that we would not have been as sick if we weren’t in the room with an active water leaks and thus mold. They paid for us to do our laundry onsite. I would not stay again. Platinum is a joke.

An amazing place for families. We loved that you can go to the neighboring resorts. There are daily activities for kids and adults. They also have nightly entertainment. All of the restaurants are delicious and the coffee shop has the best iced chai latte!!! El CID resorts are definitely our go to for vacations!!

Me and my family of 5 stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay, would definitely go back! Dining options were great and staff were helpful and pleasant. Liked that I had access to all the Ventus resorts. 10/10 for me!
