Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts All Inclusive Riviera Maya

For the price they can do better. No elevator in the lobby when is a big stair to get to the restaurant. We have a baby on a stroller and was a hard to get there everytime.

I love that its Nick. I grew up watching Nickelodeon and now my children watch it. I loved seeing characters from fhe shows I watched as a kid in the 90's. I was able to enjoy the stay as much as my children. The check in process was my ONLY and main issue. We arrived early as it was the only flight that got us there before check in time and not super later afterwards. I knew we would have to wait, bc it was 10 a.m. However I didnt think we would have to wait the entire day. We ate breakfast, went to the water park snd explored the property. We were ready for a break in our room by 130. We were told the room is not ready, but if we wanted to pay for an early check in they could get us in a room. Ummm sooo you do have rooms available?? I was super disappointed. We did finally gey our room at 3. An hour before check in, but it seems like we could have gotten it sooner. The restaurants were nice. Good burger was the only restaurant where the server seemed to he annoyed. Not sure if he was having a bad day. Ofher than that the staff were super friendly and professional. The gift shops... save alll your USD for that. Everything was 3 to 4 times what it should be. I paid $62 for a 16 oz cup and my daughter wanted a SpongeBob stuffy that was $136 USD. We did buy some stuff for memories but it was not family priced.

The kids had a great time last week at Nickelodeon! We did have a hurricane Beryl come but we only lost out on 1 day of no pool/water park but the hotel was great at setting up inside activities. The water park was so fun for my 5 and 2 year old. They have a section that is so fit for 3 and under and my daughter was there the whole time! The swim up suite is so convenient because you open your balcony door and 2 steps down is your pool. We got the pool level deck because the swim up bar is there but any level would be great since it all comes with a pool. Great time hope to be back again soon!

The service at Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is top notch and truly shows Mexican hospitality. All the employees were nice, courteous, always smiling, always saying hello, and always willing to help. I was very impressed with the hospitality. We went to Nickelodeon Punta Cana 2 years ago and the service and food were terrible. Mexican food beats DR food by a very far stretch. The restaurants were good but lacks variety and not too adult focused. Piazza was the only restaurant that we were happy with. The beef tenderloin and pizza were really good and on par with the stuff back in the US. The shows were great for the kids as they enjoyed them every night we were there. Aqua Nick was excellent as it caters to the kids and the adults. They had 3 separate areas catering to all age groups. My son is a bit older so he preferred to go on the tall water slides and my little one preferred the Paw Patrol area. Just one thing that I can just say that I wasn't happy with. The theater has two rows of reserved seats with clear cloth covers that say "reserved". The first night we were there I asked 3 separate employees about sitting in those seats. All three of them said it was fine to sit in. However, on our last night, when they had guests with status arrive, the lady walked up to me and said this is reserved for people with status. I of course told her your employees told me to sit here and to please train them properly. I asked 3 of them because I understand the English barrier.

Great place tor families.

Great hotel. Gift shop was pricey. Also, there is not much to do for kids over 9 years old. My son was bored with the characters as they were for much younger children.

This is a fun resort for children . The water park has slides and activities for all ages and comfort levels. There is also access to food throughout the day and the pool in the room is wonderful.

Excellent hotel for families, staff extremely friendly

The overall resort is extremely nice. We had an amazing vacation even with rain for 6 days straight. We would highly recommend this resort. There are somethings we wish that we knew prior to our booking…. There isn’t a beach that you can get into the water and enjoy. The main lobby, some restaurants, main stage and water park are not walking distance to your room in the Seaside Bldg. Bus Shuttles are used to transport guest back and forth. The lines for the shuttle transport can be long with a wait time (no fun when you are hungry). The seats on the shuttle are often wet from previous passengers coming from the waterpark. The hotel room, elevators and hallways should have been better maintained everyday with cleaning and non stop pick up. There was always food plates and food spills infront of our room door that didn’t belong to us that stayed for extended periods of time. We booked for a family of 5, our room was not stocked for 5 people at check in. We had to request a few times additional towels/wash cloths after the daily cleaning. Concierge is a plus and has amazing customer service. I highly suggest talking with them in the beginning of your stay to figure the resort logistics and times. The spa is a must do. The spa is clean, esthetically appealing, good amenities, excellent services/professionals. This is a kid resort, your children will be more than happy 😊
