El Taj Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel

Nice well-maintained condo-hotel with beach access and beach amenities. Good atmosphere for families.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom w/ ocean view in April. Great for large families. Felt like we were staying in our own home. Personal jacuzzi, washer/dryer, large balcony w/dinning and lounging furniture. Each room had its own bathroom and full/partial ocean views. Full kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, toaster oven, dishwasher, fridge, blender, and kitchen ware. 1 time complimentary coffee and beverages. Unlimited free filtered water and ice. TVs in each room and living room. Dish washing soap, laundry detergent, lotion, shampoo, bar soap provided. Clean, pleasant staff, easy checkin/out. Within walking distance to 5th Ave (shops/restaurants) and other beaches. We shopped at the local grocery store and cooked in kitchen sometimes. Pool was warm. Would definitely return.

The beach was not ideal, our hot-tub was not very warm, dryer didn't work. We had a penthouse and it was nice… we also had some kids snooping around our roof top when they thought no one was around. I was not happy about that.

This condo hotel was such a welcome treat from our normal all inclusive stays in Mexico. We went with family so it was very nice to have a 2 bedroom condo with 2 separate bathrooms which gave enough space for everyone in one unit. Having a kitchen was also very beneficial. The condo complex has 2 building, we were in the back building so we were one block from the water but still very convenient. Be aware that there is no beach right behind the complex, you have to walk a couple blocks left or right to get to an actual beach where you can relax on the sand etc, but still a great area. The nightlife and restaurants on PDC were literally less than a 5 minute walk from the condo, but the condo itself was super quiet and cozy. We even had a private roof top terrace with a hot tub with our booking which was amazing! Loved this place so much. Couple of things to be aware of, the back building does not have elevators. We were on the 3rd floor, and it was a hike each time to and from our apartment. Also, the parking garage was convenient, but very tight.

The stay was amazing. Staff was kind and helpful. They took the time to explain hotel amenities in the room and around the premises. The location of the hotel was close enough to the main tourist walkway. It was about a 12 min walk to the ADO bus station that transports you from the cancun airport which was convenient for my family. I stayed in a two bedroom garden view hotel andthe two single beds and king bed worked well for our family. Our room had A/C which was a plus. All appliances worked and our condo had what we needed to cook basic things or heat up food. The hotel offered beach towel rental which was convinient for our daily excursions. I would book this place again. We had a wonderful stay.

This was my family's 2nd stay. We visited in 2018 and returned because we loved our stay. After this 2nd stay, we still feel the same way. We highly recommend a stay here.

Very private, quiet, privacy respectful stuff, location is great, property has everything for comfortable stay in company of friends, family or couple

Love mostly everything, one of the things that I didn’t like was that every single brown cabinets had finger print in it, also the main jacuzzi was always cold, but other than that Wifi was a100, all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Love that we had a washer and dryer and detergent was included that was a 🔝 (we are a family of 4) being on vacation needed to wash clothes every 2 days. We also love that everything is clothes, most of the time we ride in the ADO is very safe and cheap, we took el colectivo 2 times but the thing we didn’t like is that if you going we kids and don’t have a sit available you will need to stay in your feet. If you have any concerns the staff is always available for you. They’re doing a great job, please keep it that way. We definitely planning to come back. And don’t worry about the noise from the outside they have this things that sounds like a fan in each bedroom and you can turned on all night, or just having the AC on will work.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Our room was number 33 and it had a nice view of the pool and ocean. My kids, ages 7 and 2, loved the pool! This location is close to everything about a 3 min walk to 5th ave and if you are looking for more local street food its just about 10-15 min walk and its was well worth it. Im giving 4 stars because of the seaweed on the beach the last 2 days of our trip. It got pretty bad. I saw crews trying their best to clear it up and its not the hotels fault. Aside from that we had a great time and I would not mind staying here again.

Staff, Service and service could not have been better. We were a group of 18 family members and we all are agreed that we will be back.
