I went only for one night for a business dinner, i arrived around 8pm with my colleague to get ready for dinner and went out pretty quick, everything seemed OK until that moment except for the shower that clogged inmideatley as soon as I opened it, after dinner we came back around 1130,pm and got ready for bed i discovered the inside of my supposedly clean bed dirty, the sheets of the bed were used they were crumbles, sand hairs, and dirt and both of the beds had the same problem, . I went down to the reception but it was nobody that were able to help me change to a clean room, the security guy was able to pull out a couple of cleen sheets so i were able to do my own bed at midnight.... and i got freaked out when i realized that there was a comunication door with the room next door that was open and not able to close.... next morning the neighbors door opens and a bunch of little kids screaming at 6 am they want to go to the pool as soon as possible... making noise and running in the ailes was not my favorite thing to wake up for this. View is amazing but i was there just for a night that went really wrong, i went down to do the check out and the guy in the reception was already with an attitude, i was trying to explain my situation andthe guy ssarcastically answered that they were going to get the cleaning lady fired and i told him that that's not the solution because the problem is not her but the wrong supervisor that do not check and that having communication doors thatdon'tcloseandnothavinganyreceptionistduringthenightforhelpwasdisappointing

This is not a 4 star hotel - it is a 2 star at best. It is very old and the customer service is non-existent. No dinner service at all and one of our days they shut the restaurant down at lunch for the owners to host a private lunch for his family. The rest of us spent the day in cabs fetching lunch and dinner. Even breakfast opened too late to eat for those that had a morning dive scheduled.
They clearly shut the Wi-Fi off on purpose - we virtually never had clear Wi-Fi and when asked they said, “I turned it on -you should be good now.”
We couldn’t order coffee except during very limited times because they were too lazy to make a simple pot of coffee… and they charge for the crappy coffee in the room.
No beach meals! No alcohol in the mixed drinks - all drinks were watered down and undrinkable.
I’ve never seen a worst managed hotel! We got the impression they were annoyed by their own customers.
Paint that place and sell it to someone who wants to run a hotel - the location is fabulous but ownership and management has ruined it entirely with its lazy policies, annoyance with its guests and refusal to sell meals except for very limited and gross overpriced breakfast Buffett —
And you get to buy a breakfast Buffett only…. If you just want an egg, it will still cost the price of a buffett. Snd stay away from their ice cream — it’s freezer burnt and very overpriced for a scoop of rotten ice.

We totally enjoyed Carnival. The island is so exciting this time of year. All the local people are very helpful and friendly. Cozumel is a beautiful and safe place for families to spend their winter/spring vacations

We stayed March 22-29. We had a 2 bedroom suite which we found to be very roomy for our family of 5. We had an ocean view and I'd definitely recommend the Ocean View. The view of the opposite side is nothing to write home about. The pool is nice. The snorkeling right off of the hotel is very nice and snorkel equipment is available to rent for very reasonable prices. We enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Coral Princess again.

We have been to Cozumel five times, and we LOVE the Coral Princess. We would never stay anywhere else. The staff, amenities, location and atmosphere make this a far better option than the large properties on the island. The hospitality of the staff is top-notch. Our kids know many of the staff on a first name basis, and the staff recognizes us every time we come back. We feel like we are a part of the Coral Princess family.
We took a year off from Cozumel to go to Disney, and our kids replied that "Disney was OK, but I want to go back to Cozumel next year." It is the one vacation we can go on where we all feel relaxed from start to finish.

All rooms have been completely refurbished after hurrican Wilma. New appliances in kitchens, new furniture. A wonderful family resort, close to town, excellent dive shop on premise, staff could not be better. Ocean rooms have spectacular views with large balconies. Very comfortable, friendly, homey atmosphere.
