If you’re looking for a relaxing experience, where food and drinks are brought over to your lounge chair and they kill you with service, this is not the resort for you. This is a family resort with lots and lots of children. It reminded me of Great Wolf Lodge where kids were running around being very loud and the customer service was a bit lacking.
The week we were there we did not run into any other foreigners. That was fine with us, but just putting it out there that it looks like this isn’t a big destination hotel for Americans or other foreigners.
The hotel seems to be very understaffed. There was one server for the entire pool and one for each beach. At the buffet, there was a woman making handmade tortillas AND preparing tacos at the same time without assistance. She looked overworked. She was very sweet and I felt bad that she didn’t hav
Food - At the Mexican restaurant, the mahi mahi was overdone and dry and the mole was burnt. Both dishes were inedible. We ended up going to town for dinner.
Transportation - The resort is massive. Set aside an extra 30 minutes every time you request a cart from your room to the lobby/ travel time. This was very inconvenient because we spent so much time waiting in the sun for rides.
Pool- there are 3 pools, with 2 being overrun with children. No music at the pools. And no, they don’t serve any meals You’ll have to dry off, change into dry clothes and go to a re

The property itself is well located and the beaches are probably the best in the Huatulco area. The staff were friendly and accommodating and overall the food was quite good despite the selection being less than other all-inclusives we have stayed at. While we could not avail of the Kids Club as our sone was 2 years old and the required age is 4 years at the resort, the children's amenities are far removed from most of the common areas and are limited throughout the resort. The pools were somewhat lackluster and could use some updating, but we are beach people and this is definitely a beach resort so we were quite happy as the beaches were clean, had plenty of palapas for shade and great snorkeling. If we choose to return to Huatulco La Brisas will probably be our go to.

This hotel offered 4 different beaches, 4 different restaurants to dine in and had 5 pools (2 of them were specifically for children). Staff was kind and very friendly. All amenities were clean.

I would not stay at Las Brisas! Poor service, poor rooms found a baby scorpion in our room, poor transportation and poor food.

The property and beaches are breathtaking. The hotel is located on 4 private calm beaches we were able to enjoy with our small children. The only complaint is that the hotel staff made it uncomfortable for our family because we booked our package through Westjet Vacation and I booked theirs through Expedia. I didn’t know that the package selected on Expedia, although it was “all-inclusive”, it wasn’t their top package like ours. The staff would make our family members feel uncomfortable about what their all inclusive package because the only had the “green bracelets”. When I purchased their package the Expedia page doesn’t make it clear that with the all inclusive package in the normal rooms you only get access to cheap drinks and only allowed to make two restaurant reservations. Only if you get the Beach Club Suite do you get access to the better drinks and you can make a reservation at the restaurants any day. They give you a tan bracelets but even then it’s annoying that they’re always asking you for your room number. At the Mexican Restaurant, which was our most unpleasant experience, they asked us for our room number 4 times, 4 different waiters. It was really annoying. There was absolutely no music playing there and everything was so rushed. We finished eating in less than an hour with how small their portions are and how quickly they’re trying to get out of there. Don’t waste your time at the restaurants the buffet has way better food than any if the restaurants.

My first experience at an all inclusive resort. Transportation around the resort was readily available. Temps in high 80s and high humidity made it necessary for this septuagerian to rely on the ever ready transport. Many restaurants and buffets to choose from and an adults-only pool made swim exercise safe and enjoyable.
ood and drinks readily avaiable. Bay water was calm enough to swim with lots of fish visible. Met many Canadians and lots of Mexican families while visiting.
