Hotel Villa Calakmul

It’s a very simple hotel but terrific for visiting the pyramids it’s family owned and they are all very nice people

Great, family owned small hotel, located one block off highway (quiet). The rooms were super clean with comfortable beds, excellant A/C and spacious. Reception was friendly and helpful, limited english, but you can bumble though. The owners care, and are sincere about the services they are providing. Good breakfast. (Extra) Basic, but all you need.

Cute little place run by a very sweet family. Good place to stop if you’re on your way to the Calakmul ruins. The ruins are a couple of hours away but this is the closest town.
