The property was beautiful. Unfortunately it’s a family-friendly resort filled with noisy kids who kept us up every night banging doors and running amok. The other big issue we had was the constant requirement of signing for every single order, even though this resort is an all inclusive. Every meal, every drink, you’re signing a receipt so the wait staff can get a tip. They follow you down to the beach or go directly to your room to make sure you sign for any service. At the all inclusives we’ve experienced, we’ve tipped with cash after service and never saw a bill, which made for a more relaxing experience.
Lastly, we were accosted by hawkers at every turn once we left the hotel. You couldn’t walk a few yards without someone trying to hustle you into buying something. After a while it gets very aggravating. Not my idea of a relaxing get away.

Staff was very friendly. We had a one bedroom suite which was roomy and comfortable with 2 kids. Food on the property was real expensive. That being said, the quality of most of the food we had was good. Better doing the all inclusive option as purchasing it at the properly was almost double the cost.

It is nice place, the best part is the views. What we didn’t like is that the pools are not all heated so the only one that is gets super crowded. Also it was 4:30pm and our room was not ready. With kids you expect to get in a room as soon as possible

I lost two days because of a whole airport situation and then at the hotel they kept taking us in circles. The information kept changing everytime we asked for something. Yes it was relaxing but there were moments where my family and I couldn’t just relax. Food was the same all 5 days and shows were boring. I was charged for room at the rend of my stay and I still have not recieved my deposit back. I wish I could recommended either buying online or going straight to the hotel and reserving the excursions there but like I said they kept going in circles about it and misinforming and you don’t get your moneys worth but then they say it’s not the best idea or it’s more expensive to get excursions outside of the hotel. Transportation unless you purchase private which is expensive is not the best.

This was a great place for a family visit to Cabo. We did the all inclusive and it was worth it given the distance to town, which wasn’t far but not quickly walkable if you have hungry kids. The food was good. At first I thought the cost per day was more than I would normally spend, but Cabo isn’t cheap and in the end I think we saved money. Plus it was nice hanging out by the pool being able to order anything we wanted without thinking of the cost.and you get to eat free at the neighboring hotel too.
The hotel itself was nice, very clean, and was the quieter of the two sister hotels (Villa Del Palmar). It’s right on the beach which is lovely. The three pools all very nice and clean. It was nice having options for which pools to swim in.
I saw a lot of people getting the timeshare talk. I avoided it, which means I probably paid more for some of our excursions and activities, but to me it was worth it. If if you have more than one kid it’s probably worth the few hours to save a lot of money on adventures.
The breakfast was wonderful. It’s a big buffet style outdoor restaurant with everything you can imagine for breakfast, including made to order omelets that were divine.

I was visiting my sister and her family after a wonderful stay at a different resort in Cabo. It was a fine place for them and my nine year old nephew loved the pirate ship, but it's just so lackluster for adults! It was very nice that they never knocked on the door to attempt to clean, but in my four nights there, I think the housekeeper only came twice! Aside from that, I phoned four other times for room cleaning, freshening, etc. and was just kind of left in a dinghy room. The servers in the restaurants were nice, but service was always slow. The Asian restaurant was by far the best!

First time staying at a resort, Had a great time except for the tropical storm we had for 2 of our 4 day stay. I would highly recommend this resort to my friends and family. The resort was very affordable considering its a high end resort. We spent most of our time downtown and sight seeing. There is a Wal-mart about 2 miles from the resort where we bought groceries to stock our kitchen in the room making our stay less stressful as far as being able to make our own meals. The Spanish galleon in the main pool is awesome. Looking forward to a return stay with the family!

The hotel was very clean! We did not eat at the hotel but heard it was good. We went in jan. the weather was 75 to 80 every day. The staff will hook you up with many fun activities for the hole family. The town is only a ten minute walk down the street or you can walk the beach. When you get off the plane get your bags and find a taxi if you did not set up a shuttle service. Other hotels have sale reps trying to sell time shares in the terminal. Look out!
