The Cape, a Thompson Hotel

Beautiful property and location. Staff was superb. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our stay in the junior suite was a memorable one because of the beautiful natural setting and view from The Cape Hotel. The meal options and quality of the food was average, and I expected better given the cost associated.

We loved The Cape it was a 4 day "get me away from everything" trip and it was successful at The Cape. They made us feel taken care of and very safe. The hotel is in a perfect spot with views of The Arch and whale sitings galore. The resort is small which is what we were looking for in a place. No big families, no kids (maybe 4 or 5) FYI I love kids but wanted quiet and we had it. The food and drinks were fabulous and the service was a 10! I reccomend highly!

My family stayed here for 6 nights and very satisfied. The atmosphere in this hotel is so good and make the stay here very relax and comfortable..

This hotel is remote, and stunning. Quality 5 star resort with 5 star service. Not pretentious, staff and guests are down to earth and inviting. Super clean rooms and common areas. Food and dining options are yummy. Just gets pricey, around $150/ day for 2 ppl. And then add in more if you're a drinker! Dear to me, if you have ANY allergy or dietary restrictions, the executive chef will see to it that you are well taken care of. I can not have any traces of gluten exposure, so cross contamination could have ruined our 4 day trip. THANK YOU chef Victor!!! Grounds are stunning. The Mona Lisa is right next door, make reservations 1 month out! The Cape isn't a "walkable" resort, but you can quickly get to downtown cabo for a $20 (one way), $30 to san Jose or $1pp on the local city bus (highly recommend if you want to save some change!) Its SAFE. And has AC. Everywhere takes USD. Pedro and Maria were our stand out staff members. But honestly everyone is kind, accommodating and pleasant to be around. Lastly, leave the kiddos at home. Pool drinking, bikinis (some more exposing than others, nothing too crazy) but not a beach resort. So no your kids are in the pool with a bunch of random adults. Awkward. Anywhoo, there are steps down to beach access but tons of surfers, which means the currents are strong. You can layout and dip in the ocean but not calm waters to let your guard down in ; )
