Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur

My second year staying at same hotel continuously. And my family love them too! Especially there's buggy service after long hours shopping at klcc!

Overall our stay at Traders was quite good. The location is quite ideal. Check-in was easy although felt like they were supposed to tell us more, about the buggy service for example. We’d pre-secured a highchair for the room but this hadn’t been sorted upon arrival so we had to remind them of this. The fridge wasn’t cold enough for breastmilk storage so we had to ask concierge twice a day to take a bottle to store, this was a huge pain & didn’t work well. The first time we called we were waiting about 20mins (you shouldn’t be leaving milk out for too long before refrigerating) and then decided to go down ourselves. When my husband went down he clearly said to cancel the room call but this didn’t happen so someone came about 20 mins later, rang the doorbell & woke our baby. When he later asked for one of the bottles to be retrieved they couldn’t find it for about 30 mins.

Very good view. Very good location. Underground connected pathway to Aquaria and Suria KLCC. Near to park which has a playground for the kids. Staff were nice. Bfast quality was so so. But still ok. No coffee maker in the room. Normal coffee sachets. Enjoyed stay overall.

You can’t beat this location if you want to be in walking distance to some of the best attractions in KL. It is definitely worth getting a room with lounge access, very good value for not much more cost. Cocktail hour is great. Buggy to the mall across the park to the towers is fun for kids and a relief on a hot day. Staff was great. The only small point of dissatisfaction is that the hotel itself is a little outdated.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a business trip. Very friendly staff and comfortable overall stay but housekeeping was very inconsistent with bathroom supplies so I often needed to call housekeeping, which is quite annoying if I come back from a long work day. I stayed in the club room, which I was told are in dedicated club room floors, was nice but on weekends, it gets too loud with kids screaming for family stays. A good idea to have quiet club floors, in my opinion.

Really great location right opposite twin towers and a park. Great walking distance from all main sites. Great for families. Food excellent.
