Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa

Had an excellent stay at Whitesands! Property has been impeccably maintained, food was excellent as always with lots of variety, and especially loved the daytime food stations that are always fresh and hot. Lots of activities for everyone especially the kids, decent but small gym, lots of pools, and very friendly staff. I had one issue that was promptly addressed. A !

Sarova Whitesands is an excellent facility with one of the best beaches in the world. This was our second consecutive stay at the hotel. We loved it so much last year that we returned this summer and stayed for six days and we could have stayed longer. The staff is professional, courteous and responsive to requests. The food is delicious. The variety of pools provides options for children and adults and the rooms are well serviced. I used the Ozone children’s club for my son and the spa and I would give both a 5 star rating. We will be back!!!

From starting morning with a fresh breakfast buffet with varity is wonderful. Then take off for a walk on the beach grab a drink and relax. Every staff member with a greeting makes for a wonderful home feeling. Whitesands and Mombasa are top destination for singles, married couples and family something for everyone! Will definitely be back for another wonderful week and experience.

Whitesands is even more beautiful in person. We experienced excellent service, loved our room, delicious food and easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The children’s club was so much fun for my son and the option to have free adult time was very welcome. Be sure to use the spa which exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back to stay at the Whitesands. The pools and well cared for facilities are even more beautiful in person,

We stayed here in April 2019 and it was fantastic, with breakfast and evening meal included. Now in December 2021 we booked again only to realise evening meal buffet no longer included and seemed to be replaced by an afternoon snack. Breakfast was excellent though. Food in restaurants is good, nothing special, but very overpriced. There are better options nearby food-wise. We had an issue at check-in, mostly my fault, but staff demonstrated very poor problem-solving skills, could have been easily resolved but instead had an hour of stress with their totally illogical 'solutions.' They were also unwilling to check well the information I was showing them. Some very unprofessional comments by at least one member of staff to my partner. That said, we had a great stay. The hotel is very family orientated, although often hosts huge conferences. Staff are generally very friendly and good. Very clean and comfortable, lots of places to sit and relax outside. Really annoyed though when the beach cafe was 'reserved' on a Friday evening for conference attendees, as we usually spent our evenings there, and its wonderful especially the Animation dancing team. Room cleaning was very slow, we went out at 10, got back at 3 room not cleaned. Had to ask for towels for the room each day, late afternoon (is there is a towel shortage?)Overall though, despite some easily avoided issues, still a great atmosphere and place to stay.
