This hotel looks grand and opulent from the exterior, but the rooms are a different story. We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath family suite for 2 nights. One bathroom door only opened halfway. The balcony doors would not close. The front door was badly damaged and had clearly been broken down before. The heat did not work, nor did the phones. But worst of all - everyone there was rude, miserable, and gave wrong information. Breakfast is included but in reality if you’re staying during Ramadan, it is not. The 24/7 room service doesn’t exist, nor does anything on the menu they have. It’s in the middle of nowhere. There is no advantage staying at this hotel. Choose elsewhere.

Really worth it to stay at Hotel Opal when arriving or departing from the airport. The drive is only 25 mins and the hotel has a ton of amenities. The rooms are fantastic (clean, comfortable) and the bed was super comfortable. I was upgraded to a suite and was impressed by the size and layout - this would be great for a family of four or five (parents would have their own bedroom + bathroom) or even two couples or two “snorers” so they would have their own rooms.

Absolutely loved our stay at Opal Hotel! We booked the night because our flight arrived at 2 am and this hotel was 15 minutes away from the airport. What a pleasant surprise this place was!? The reception staff was amazing, even the guys that opened the gate were all so friendly. The rooms were clean, fully stocked with soft drinks and very spacious. Next morning we had an unbelievable breakfast we’re every single thing we ate was out of this world. The staff kept explaining to us all the items offered in the buffet and personally bring us things to try. Wonderful staff and experience and we cannot wait to come back again. Special thanks to Luai Tamimi from the front desk, he went out of his way to help us to make our stay comfortable and assure our family was happy, he truly is a great example of Jordanian hospitality and culture.

We have stayed at the Amman Airport hotel in past. Opal is much nicer, cleaner, cheaper only 14 minutes from airport (although the shuttle is 25 jod) and they gave us a box breakfast when we had an early flight I would never stay at the Amman Airport hotel again.
Only comment is they promote hookahs in one of the restaurants where children and non smokers share the patio air

We were welcomed and shown our rooms. Very nice with balcony. Two restaurants offered decent food with excellent service. Sadly they promoted smoking hookahs which was bothersome and surprising with many children around. If you want wine or any alcohol with your meal forget it. Smoke yes alcohol no. They kindly provided a boxed breakfast for our early morning departure. Only 14 minutes to airport with 25j JOD shuttle. We stayed at Amman airport hotel in past. Forget it. This is nicer and cheaper. Only complain is two wild woman banged on our door at 1am in full covered garb. Wrong address. Not the hotels fault. What were they smoking???

Servers are very kind but they don’t speak English which. causes bad understanding & communication in restaurants or other facilities. Swimming pools & spa, massages have separated time table for women & men so, couples & families can never enjoy services together. Our family room door was broken so everyone could enter our room. The hotel is out of town and far from tourists attractions. We don’t recommend this hotel for tourists or expats. But it’s good for locals.

This hotel is literary a walled castle with the best service, food and accommodations in Amman. You will feel like a king arriving to your palace.
Everything here is huge. Like, American huge. The hotel is clearly inspired by Las Vegas and everything feels tidy and comfortable.
The top floor is a kids planet - just for you.
The basement is a swimming and spa area.
You can rent a private driver as well.
The staff are super nice and very service minded.
The best thing about this hotel is the food - especially the breakfast. Everything is fresh and they have probably the best falafel in Amman!
Highly recommended place!

The hotel staff was excellent, with several employees going out of their way to ensure our stay was great. Additionally, the family suite we had was well-maintained and well-stocked.
