Stayed with a family of four, including two elementary age kids. Not sure what went wrong but we booked the room with the double bunk bed and the double twin beds and somehow we ended up with the single bunk and double twin. Tried to explain but something must have gotten lost in translation. We made due with the smaller room but we definitely could have used the bigger room. Nevertheless, the property itself was fine. Staff was friendly. And had some nice amenities with the free coffee/espresso and morning snack. You can pay a little more for a quick meal too. It's no more than 10 mins from a number of stations on major lines including a big one in Shimbashi Station. The other thing you'll soon find is the area is FULL of business people during the week. From the rush of commuters in during the morning, to people grabbing a drink after work. But because of that, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel itself also has plenty of business travelers. Overall, a better place for solo or duo travelers, but not a bad place for kids if you temper your expectations and don't mind a typical small Japanese room.

Overall, a great stay! Amazing insulation from the summer heat (the only hotel room we had in Japan that was not hot when we returned from a day out) and tasty free breakfast treat (red bean and poppy seed croissant or chocolate scone the days we stayed). The 500 yen paid breakfast is very meager by hotel standards though, consisting of about 150 ml of dilute soup and a small dinner roll. Also, there is no coffee in the room, only tea. The room itself was small with minimal built in storage and ironing boards were not automatically provided. It was a very efficient use of space though. One con for us traveling as a family though is that the room does not get cleaned daily so we had to live through the kids crumbs from late night snacking. Also, the self service laundry facility consists of only one washing machine which was in use whenever I checked but the 24 hr laundromat a 3 minute walk away was easy to use. The staff were very helpful to answer all our questions, including telling us about the 24 hr laundromat and possibly the best ramen restaurant we have ever eaten at. Of the three hotels we stayed at in Japan, this was the most expensive but had the fewest amenities, but that may be Tokyo prices vs Kansai area prices. The proximity to major subway lines was great for us to explore all over Tokyo. Overall a convenient and efficient choice and we would stay again if reasonably priced for the area.
