Convenient to Kyoto Station, but distant from Gion and other areas of interest. Trains and subway from the station are easy. Hotel was comfortable for our family trip.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Terrace Hachijo Higashiguchi. The hotel room was a bit small but that’s expected here in Japan. The bed was a little harder than other hotels but it’s not too bad. The breakfast is the best so make sure to sign up for that if you are staying here. It’s a buffet style with options to choose from. We would stay here again if we visit Kyoto again.
