Palazzo Barocci is a modern (in an ancient structure of course) supremely located upscale boutique hotel with commanding view on the Grand Canal of Venice. Definitely get a room with a view, preferably the junior suite. They are located right next to the S. Angelo vaporetto stop, and close to the Rialto Bridge. From behind the property, you walk back toward San Marco square. This hotel has everything a boutique could offer, because you have the view and location, and the property itself is well appointed. We've stayed here twice because it's hard to beat. The room is great. The breakfast garden is very nice. Breakfast is fine but a little smaller than some other properties. Staff is very helpful.

My friends and I stayed in the junior suite with a view and let me say if you were hesitant to book or needed a sign to book THIS IS IT! This was the best room ive stayed in, in my 33 years of living. The room screamed luxury and I am sure there are possibly more luxurious rooms in the world but for the price point and location I think this was definitely top tier. The room had a sofa bed full size and it was decent comfort. A king size bed and that was very comfortable. A view overlooking the canal. The bathroom was nice and big. The hotel had a nice rooftop. The ferry docks right outside to the right of the hotel, very convenient. Additionally, its walking location is close to shopping and great restaurants. The hotels staff was kind and helpful as well. I highly recommend and plan to return.

True taste of Venice, excellent location, highly modern rooms with exceptional decor. We booked the junior suite with a balcony and it was worth every penny. Straight out of the movies. Highly recommend this place as it's located 5-10 min walking from everything. Staff is very professional and rooms seem to be newly upgraded.

Hotel is in a very central location and right on the canal. Easy to walk to most places. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful - arranged water taxi for us to the airport upon departure. Good sized room and bathroom - junior suite.

Fantastic hotel! Staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to be helpful and kind. We were travelling with a toddler and the staff were so welcoming and generous with her - little gifts whenever they saw her, surprise balloons in our room etc. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The location is perfect, very close to the major sites but also away from the foot traffic just a few streets over. Highly recommend.

The staff was pleasant but poorly trained. I contacted the hotel several times about transportation from the airport to the hotel. They did not respond to both emails. We needed a Covid test to board our cruise ship. Georgio advised us to just walk over to the Pelegrín’s pharmacy as they take walk-ins. That was not the case. When we left for the ship we needed a water taxi. What a mess. The taxi showed up 30 to 45 minutes late. We were quoted a rare by the hotel of 75 Euro and when we got off the taxi he insisted on 100. Told him to collect it from the hotel. So, fro the beginning of the trip and at the end of the trip, very poor service. We paid for the most expensive suite (a junior suite) and based on the advertising, expected a room with a balcony. As it turned out, not a big deal but I felt a bit of bait and switch there. If I could do it over, I would have reserved a much smaller room at half the price with a view or partial view. Overall, I was very disappointed and would not recommend the hotel.
