Hotel Montecarlo

Was very clean and near Saint Marco square close to everything. Front desk very professional and accommodating. Would recommend to family and friends.

The location was very convienent So very close to everything you could need in venice Reception was excellent Customer service was just right, very accomdating but without being overbearing Room had dirty wallpaper, torn and peeling wall paper bathroom mirror in need of serious repair could see the black mold on the ceiling in room and bathroom This is a walkup as the elevator is for 1 child size human And I now have these insect bites in strange places that indicate bed bugs are about in this hotel So very sad Also just beware to bring ear plugs as the bells ring every 30 minutes which is beautiful to hear but if your are sensitive to night time noise this was the loudest item the street noise disappears by 12 midnight and minus the bells is is so very quiet and calm

We’ve enjoyed our stay at the Monte Carlo. The staff is patient and professional. They didn’t seem overwhelmed and kept a great attitude even though it was busy. They provided us with all the necessary information regarding our stay and conveniently booked our transportation and tour around Venice. When we left the hotel, we forgot some items in our room and they reached out to the driver of the taxi boat to let us know. Unfortunately we couldn’t go back however we made arrangements to have them shipped to our next destination. They been very responsive since then. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends and we’ll stay there again.

It is in historic building 400 years old. We reserved 1 room for 4 people one being a child and there was a mixup because they cannot accommodate 4 on one room. The staff made the best to move is to bigger room the next day with and extra roll up bed for an extra fee. Breakfast is excekent
