Absolutely spectacular hotel! Location was great. I travelled alone with my 2 kids and felt very safe! The rooftop terrace bar is a hidden gem and the breakfast, which was included, was superb! Very happy with this stay. We will definitely stay here next time we go to Florence!

Hotel Degli Orafi was a well kept hotel in a great location. Although some of the rooms were dated but kept the old world Italian feel. The towels and bedding were top quality and the amenities were nice. There were several large rooms with nice furniture to gather with friends and family. The breakfast was exceptional and Federico kept everything running smoothly and was a wonderful host. The roof top bar was a highlight with views of the Duomo. Dario, Valerie and Alisio took care of everyone and made it a great environment to spend the evening. The location was perfect within walking distance to all the sights and right on the river near the Ponte Vechio bridge. The staff at the hotel is exceptional and there to take care of your every need. Hotels.com forgot to confirm our friends extra night and there was no rooms left in the class they had booked so the hotel upgraded their room for the entire stay at the original price we booked it for. The only con for us were the showers. Our first room had a bathtub shower combination which was hard to get in and out of. They nicely moved us to another room, just as comfortable but the shower was very small and again hard to maneuver. I’m sure they would have moved us again if we would have requested but I didn’t want to ask to be moved again.

This property is in a great location next to the Uffizi across the Arno. We received a room upgrade to a beautiful two level junior suite. Breakfast and staff were wonderful. Loved our stay!

This hotel is literally next door to the Galleria degli Uffizi. It's less than 100m from the Ponte Vecchio, and the neighborhood sights are gorgeous early in the morning. By midday, the streets nearby are packed. At night, there can be some noise from the riverbank garden below, but the rooms are relatively well soundproofed. The staff were great. My junior room had a king bed and a lovely view of the street below and the arches along the river bank. Unfortunately, I could not see the river or the bridge, but it was still quite pleasant. The was one small negative with the room: the bathtub was quite cramped for me (I'm average height and build). I had a similar issue during my last stay in Florence, and this is partly due to the challenge of putting modern conveniences in old, historic buildings. A larger suite might have a more spacious shower/tub.
