I was not able to make the trip due to a family emergency. I tried to cancel within 2 hours of the booking but my money was not returned. Won’t be going here when I make it to Bologna…

The weirdest combination of horrible service with hip (but somewhat dated) hotel. Extremely slow wifi made even more maddening by the fact that the hotel's system would shut connectivity every 24 hours--regardless of the fact we had a multi-day stay. Guests are then required to contact the surly front desk personnel to obtain a new username and password, which may or may not work. Unfortunately, the front desk personnel also double as concierges, which, of course, resulted in us being told our dinner reservations had been made when, in fact, they hadn't. In sum, this is a nice hotel run by school kids.

The room is clean and the location is super convenient. The breakfast had lots to offer and was brilliant. Depending on the price though, I’ll definitely stay here again. Unfortunately, the number of the staff is very limited. There’s no kettle in the room and it’s always a long wait for someone to be free to tend to the hotel bar for a drink or hot water. The water pressure was very weak. It’s ok to take shower, but to fill a bath tub, it took 25 mins. There are many drug addicts lurking around near station and nearby Porta Galliera, so maybe a bit scary for little children, but it never posed as a problem for us.
