This family owned boutique hotel which is part of the Relais et Chateaux group is a MUST! The complex is a quad surrounded by 'typical' Italian Villas, anchored by their Michelin rated restaurant (had 3 stars in the 2000s, now has 2 stars) which had an amazing price/experience value and was nearly full every night. In the large courtyard annexed by the various villas there is a small-ish pool (which has a couple of spa-like water jets on each side) with a relaxing deck. Proprietor Mario and family/team make a point to see each of their guest every day to say hello and make sure their stay is going well (their motto actually is: "guest services as a vocation" and it shows!). Since the property only has a few rooms, it never felt crowded (we spent 4 days there and only saw ~5 other couples) and the rooms themselves are very well insulated with good central air. After 11 days in Italy and having stayed at 4 different hotel - this was by far the best price/quality/value and really the only place where they seemed to really care about their craft! Not to be missed: -> they have their own farm 5km from the hotel where they grow fruits/vegetable for the restaurants (guests are welcomed to visit, sadly we were not able to make it) AND have an amazing basement crypt/wine cellar. Tip 1: They make an amazing lemon liquor in house that is not to be missed Tip 2: Breakfast IS A MUST / an experience on its own - plan to spend at least 45 mins - 1 hour to enjoy in the courtyard.

Wow. This is something. We was here for two days during our 25 year wedding anniversary. We had booked a junior suite, but was upgraded. The suite was really nice with a huge terrace. The breakfast very good with excellent service and choices. It`s sorrounding is a sleepy small town, but the experience is about the hotel and the restaurant. However, don`t miss the opportunity to take the walk to Don Alfonsos farm, and the sorrounding, Punta della Campanella. Its beautiful and with a spectacular view to Capri island. The restaurant experience was amazing. It has to be experienced! And thanks to the family that owns and are running this place. They are all very dedicated and know what they`re doing.

We received a warm welcome at this family owned hotel and restaurant. They did everything to make our stay very special in arranging for transportation to Sorrento and a visit to Positano. The breakfast is amazing and the cooking class was fun. Make sure you dine in their restaurant and ask to see the amazing wine cellar.

We checked into the hotel, it only has 8 rooms, ours was gorgeous, large with a fabulous bathroom, loads of soft towels, the bed was amazing - a beautiful terrace with views of Mount Vesuvius- our friends were given the cottage which was a divine house, bathroom and lounge downstairs with the bedroom upstairs and a gorgeous garden. Pool area small but sufficient as we had driven from the south and just wanted to chill for the afternoon. Dinner was an experience in itself, it’s all organic and mostly home grown, there were about 25 chefs all working extremely hard to produce a culinary experience which you won’t forget. Obviously, it’s pricey but you get what you pay for and it’s a fabulous experience not to be missed. Service is superb even breakfast was delicious and we would definitely go back one day and they are very proud of what their family has produced.
