Inishowen Gateway Hotel

Our stay was super worth it. Our room has the golf course, sea and sunset view!!! Room was clean and comfy and buffet breakfast was good! We’re gonna bring our family next time so they can experience what we had! Thank you again!!!

Room was very comfortable a bit cold during the night.Had a dinner in the bar was beautiful. Decided to stay for a few drinks in the bar order cocktails and the very junior bar maid gave me a cocktail without the side order when I query the cocktail was told this was the way it came which is utter rubbish having had this cocktail in many other places. If we stay again which I doubt we will be going out of bar area for drinks as I feel bar staff were all very junior on this visit

We were overall very impressed with our stay, the room was lovely (we were expecting an older styled room but it was recently redecorated), the bar food was beautiful and the breakfast in the peninsula restaurant the next morning was also beautiful. My sister had a Seaview room and it was so lovely. Tea and coffee making appliances in the room were very handy, and the location of the hotel was perfect, a short walk from the town. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and the fact the hotel had plenty of families staying, allowed the kids to play together. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel, is a bit dated but is clean and has everything you need. Although a bath in the family room would've been handy instead of just a shower. Good swimming pool and friendly staff. Food fresh and drinks were good. Think it was Jennifer who checked us in and she was a Godsend, a credit to the hotel. She was friendly, professional and very accommodating to our family. Good location to beach and amenities.

It was a nice hotel but we were very excited for room service which they state twice in the books in the rooms that they provide at an extra charge. We were fine with this and went about our day. When it came time to order I called the number. They told me they dont really do room service and i could come down and get the food myself. I had 2 small children in bed already so, no I can not come down. Dont advertisers things that arent offered please.
