Hotel Kilmore

Exceptional family Hotel, in very good condition, nicely decorated throughout. Great food and service. Very well trained staff. I’ve stayed in 30 hotels this year and this ranks as one of the nicest.

Very polite staff and wry safe for kids .

Venue is good for weddings or large parties, but for the traveler stopping for an evening, they may find the unattended children running through the halls and drunken guests loudly returning to their rooms after midnight a bit disruptive to their sleep. Elevator to second floor rooms inconveniently located, so if you have luggage be prepared to lug it up the steps. Food is fair, bar not well stocked (in terms of variety). Property is clean and grounds well-kept. Is staying in Cavan again, would likely find a B&B.

Fantastic stay. Friendly staff and great location. Stayed for a family wedding for two nights and had a great break away. It snowed which made the surroundings look beautiful and the kids had fun during the wedding reception playing in the snow.
