JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata

We had an all around excellent stay, the employees were all very welcoming, hospitable and helpful across the board. At Vintage Asia, our server Remrem was very caring and helped us make the right choices, and took care of the whole family of all ages. At JW kitchen, Mr. Partha Ghosh and the chef got us mishti doi which my father wanted even though it was not available in the buffet, and made it very special for us. They also took care of us across breakfast. Rooms were very clean and hotel was very clean as well.

Everybody was very friendly and knowledgeable . They treated my 7 month old baby Arya like she was an celebrity .Thankyou we had a wonderful stay

It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the JW Marriott Kolkata. Everything was amazing at the property, from the politeness and attentiveness of the staff, good vibes all around, large, open and quiet indulgences, luxurious and clean rooms, round the clock service from the staff. I would especially like to mention Ankita from the reception area for making my check-in and check-out experience seamless, Chetan for always checking up on me and my family during breakfast and dinner, Florence for always accommodating us to spend time at the JW lounge. All the staff were always polite and courteous. Only one point I felt where some attention is required. Kolkata being a warm and humid city, I was expecting the air conditioning in the property and the rooms to be cold and comfortable but it wasn't really so. I found it somehow manageable but not comfortable for a cozy good night's sleep.

I had the worst experience. So i booked a room for a day for my dad’s birthday through expedia app, and i paid for 3 guest mom dad and my brother. And i paid additional charge for all meals and special deal which included spa worth 1000 and few more things. So when my family reached hotel for check in , they were asking money for 3rd guest meals when I already paid through expedia. I showed them everything, mailed them everything and that no terms n conditions were written as they were stating. They were just not listening at all and was like in expedia they show meals for 3 guest but we have different policies so you’ll have to pay this much amount of money for the 3rd guest meals. Though I literally paid extra for meals for all. Anyway When they asked for special deals they refused to give that as well and said we dont have such thing you’ll have to talk to our manager for that. They were being ridiculous. It literally spoiled my dad’s birthday. I wanted to give him a memorable stay so that he’d relax and have a great time. And just never going to book again here. Worst experience ever.
