Nice hotel to stay with family and kids

Really nice hotel. Good value for a family of 4 and facilities were excellent. The staff were great who came to the room for the good service. Only issue I had there was a lot of noise outside which disrupted my sleep which is not ideal before taking a long flight. Food was great and the bathroom was also in great condition. Had a very western feel to it.

there was mould on the curtains and smell. how they could let someone live in a room with mould specially when you are travelling with toddler.i have photos of the curtain. we checked in after 10pm and so tired we went to sleep as we checked out at 4am.even room bed looks like noone made it from fresh sheet. it was discussting experience specially when you pay top $ for decent accomodation.

We arrived at the hotel in Amritsar around 9.30am from New Delhi. They told us there wasn’t a shuttle from the airport, yet we saw a shuttle when we reached the hotel. Upon arriving they told us the shuttle goes to and from the Harmandir Sahib area so we can avail it. We left our bags at the front desk for safe keeping, and headed to the Golddn Temple complex. This service was very helpful and direct. From where they drop us off ws had to take a TukTuk to navigate through the narrow streets. We were able to visit the temple, a Jallianwallah Bagh, eat Langar. Well around and take photos. All was done by 2.30pm. We quickly checked in around 3pm and rushed for the trip to the border. We returned around 8pm. We stayed one night. The room was a junior suite and very well appointed. The ONLY thing was that the heater did NOT WORK! We called front desk and reported this is a problem because it is VERY COL! A technician came and adjusted the thermostat. Still no heat. They gave us a small room heater that could barely warm the front living room area which had the extra bed. I had to make a trip to the front desk and request atleast another room heater, as the central heating system doesn’t work, extra blankets were offered. If they knew, we should’ve been advised earlier. B’fast, very good spread, South & North Indian and continental. If only the heater had worked despite the inconvenience that it is about 25-30 minutes from the temple complex, it would be a good 5 star review.
