Holiday Inn Resort Goa, an IHG Hotel

Everything was Superb .. enjoyed with my family

This was my third trip to this property, but first, with family (however same was not recognized in my bill or IHG membership was updated despite I mentioned it), overall this property as usual is one of the good ones in Goa, but the level of service has dropped a lot since my first trip to it in 2017, and food quality went worse, despite we don't like to waste food we had to literally gulp down whatever we ordered to fill in & a lot of food was wasted. Feedback was shared chef, but not much was done about it. We were fortunately kept on a pool/sea view side room on the second floor, rooms are smaller than generally found at this price tag in Goa, but views are great, the property is certainly kid-friendly, but to my surprise that so hyped kids stay & eat for the free policy of Holiday Inn was translated by the hotel staff as only free milk, mashed potatoes, daliya etc. for a 3-4 year-old kid. The major disappointment came on our stay's last night when we found the property is hosting a 3-4 day wedding which of course was an inconvenience as you come here for peace & tranquillity, not for chaos, perhaps hotel should have indicated such event is being hosted at time of booking, I would have certainly changed the travel dates. Anyways, the overall stay was satisfactory but not worth visiting again with family.

- nice beach, anyway they could put some more palms on it to make at cozy like at leela (neighbor hotel)- most guests were using the sunbeds of the beach shack which were closer to the ocean - as well, the very loud mash-up-„ Techno“music at the holiday inn beach grill was a bit too much on daytime, as there were just a family (with Kids) and me having lunch (don’t understand me wrong, I love to make party, but it wasn’t a party situation :-) ) - very helpful staff - beautiful garden - Hotel its a bit outdated, WiFi im the Room was unusable slow (room 135, maybe it’s the part of the building, I told the guest relation after check in, but no reaction), at the beach the same, WiFi in the pool area was very good. - in terms of marriage season it was impossible to sleep before 3 a.m., but it had a great atmosphere in die public area anyway - Food at zest was basic and the interior is more like a canteen
