Hotel Boutique Los Pasos & Spa

I’ve stayed in this hotel before and everything went well, we’ve been coming for the last 3 years, therefore I’ve recommend it to friends and family. However this time the experience regarding customer service, staff and restaurant service left a lot to desire. The restaurant took forever with the food, it was lacking flavor, the waiters were not polite nor friendly, overall the experience was not the greatest which is a shame since the hotel itself it’s super pretty and the rooms are great but with that experience it makes me doubt if I’ll ever come back again or if I would recommend it again.

The hotel is great, the facilities are very well kept and offer everything you could need. The staff is absolutely amazing, they were helpful and nice. The food and drinks were great, the breakfast was incredible. We loved the stay and recommend it to all, solo, couples or families.

Hotel was nice and clean and has a really beautiful architecture and design, however front desk customer service was poor as well as some of the restaurant staff. We informed them about our VIP membership and no perks were given to us!!! The hotel restaurant was ok, my toddler spilled a new juice on the table and we were still charged for a refill when a glass cup was given to a toddler, also staffing attentions at the restaurant was horrible, late service, forgotten items and ignored.

Great stay, the hotel work team was very friendly and attentive, the chef who is also the bartender cooked for us and dinner was very good, the pets are adorable and very friendly, we made the decision to take the whole family with us a couple of months, the one bad thing about the trip was that we only stayed two days Thank you for serving us well.

It's good overall. 9.5 points But let me mention about the hot water. My family took shower in the night and also in the morning. Sometimes the had the hot water but sometime no. Just very cold water, not even "warm" water. I stayed in the bathroom wait "warm" water for almost 20 minutes. (maybe because the high peek of using water) I recommend the management need to fix this issue.

Fabulous stay, in Guatemala for a wedding,fabulous staff each one if them, could not have been better, a small issue with the A/C in our room,and we were upgraded to a beautiful room for the remainder of our stay ( 3 nights) by the hotel manager! a very special hotel which is both modern and very traditional, we will certainly stay again if we travel to Guatemala, our family ate with us one evening and they also loved it,thanks for a fabulous stay.

Truly an excellent hotel.Greeted by warm,friendly and helpful staff every interaction.The person who cleaned our room was so thoughtful ,she assisted me even outside my room with my toddler! (Sorry I didn't get her name).The surroundings are beautiful,clean and really quiet.My toddler was the loudest sound.Rooftops -amazing view of the volcano and the churches. Wine cellar was a pleasant surprise.Breakfast was fresh and delicious.Staff was so attentive and accommodating of our quests whenever we were in the common areas.

It is impossible to overstate how wonderful our stay was at Los Pasos! The room was spotlessly clean, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the central park area, but far enough that it was quiet), the decor is so pretty, the breakfasts are delicious and the staff makes you feel like family!! They were incredibly eager to help in any way possible. They even helped us order a pizza in for delivery when we couldn't figure out how to do it online. They took a personal interest in our travel plans (we were there for a service/mission trip) and were incredibly warm and friendly. We went from Los Pasos out to a "fancy" hotel in Panajachel and all of us wished we were back at Los Pasos. In the words of my son, "Even though [fancy hotel name] has the views and pretty gardens, I would rather be back at Los Pasos. There I felt like we were part of their family."

My family and I loved how peaceful it was at the hotel, staff were great, always willing to help and answer any of our questions.
