Moxy Frankfurt Airport Kelsterbach

Two major incidents lead to a negative experience of our stay in this hotel. 1. After checking in, we were given a room that was not completely cleaned yet. Trash of the previous guest was still laying around the room. In the bathroom used towels were present and the floor was completely wet. 2. There was no hot water for one whole evening - this not only for us, other guests had the same problem In general: + the staff at the reception is great, they are not to blame for the mistakes. We were immediately given another room after the first incident + the room has a modern feel and is very clean + air conditioning is sufficient for hot days (30 C), and is silent -the location: good for airline staff or airport travellers, but not great for city trips to Frankfurt. Public transport is not convenient. Bus stop in front of hotel is only usable on week days, during office hours. S-bahn station is a 20min. walk. Hotel shuttle is €4 to get to the airport, from there the connections to the city are good. -Room doesn’t have much storage space, and only has a small desk -Bathroom design is bad. Impossible to not flood the bathroom while taking a shower (although putting only a half glass wall between shower and the remaining part seems to be a trend in other new hotels as well) -Room is not soundproof if there are babies/small children next door Of course the two major flaws might be incidental, but this is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range.
