Novotel München Airport

After extensive research, we decided on this hotel as our base for our 2 week family reunion/wedding in Bavaria for a total of 12 bookings. . Novotel is simply the best!!!! Great newly renovated facility, professional, friendly staff, easily reachable by reliable public transportation… we loved the attention to detail: complimentary water and chocolate/ great coffee and tea in the room … and Oktoberfest Lebkuchen hearts in lobby! 💗 A great stay! ! Thank you!!!!

Very close to the airport and good room for families

Would absolutely recommend. Very clean, easy bus access to airport, staff was even kind enough to have the sofa already converted to a bed for my kids (a big help). 5 stars.

Friendly staff at check-in. Hotel was clean. Rooms were set up for our family. Breakfast was excellent.

It was a great place to stay with a toddler!! They are fully set up with toys and high hairs! Very happy with the stay and service!!

I recommend this hotel for families with children or if you have a long layover. Amazingly friendly and nice staff (Theresa)! Easy transport from airport to hotel. Nice thing was that the hotel offers late checkout up to 5 hours later for 60 euro. Room was very clean and typical European design: smallish but very functional and well thought-out. Free coffee in the lobby was amazing. The food was delicious and pricey but that is standard in all hotels. However, if you want to save money on basic food and drinks there is very nice gas station about 10 min walk Agip Servicestation Flughafen München that has pastries, sandwiches and some hot meals for very decent price and also toiletries, souvenirs, and alcohol. There aren't other dining/shopping options nearby so if you are looking for that, this is not the hotel for you. Train station to the city is walking distance to the hotel (the ticket machine required pin code for credit card purchase). Bottom line I am happy we discovered Novotel at Munich Airport and we will be back when we have a long layover in Munich!

It was a great stay to stay near the airport. Very comfortable, breakfast is super nice. Restaurant for other meals seems to be a little pricy. As it is close to the airport, is far from downtown. Train station to downtown is like 10 minutes walking and 40-50 train. Rideshares and taxis for downtown are 60-90 euros each way. However, as we were traveling with the kids, it was easier to be closer to the airport. They have a space near the restaurant with toys and our kids had a great time. Recommended.

Although the hotel was close to the airport, it was just far enough to be a bit inconvenient. No shuttle, just a city bus stop. No luggage carts, you walk to the bus stop for those. But the big downside to this was the inability to head to the part of the airport that has restaurants and shops, so you are stuck at the hotel with a food option that doesn’t open until 5 PM and has limited food choices. We got dinner at the hotel, which was OK, though it took quite some time to get our food. In addition our server was quite unfriendly. It was also a bit pricey for our budget. The room was comfortable for our family of four (2 young kids) and the hotel itself was clean. Overall, it served its purpose. It would have been nice stay at the hotel property that’s right at the airport, though you will see the downside of that property in its price tag.

Great place to stay at if you want to travel around with family in the region.

This is a nice, very clean hotel that is really close to the airport. The staff is helpful and there is a bus that is free for guests that loops through the airport and airport parking stops. We wanted to stay close to the airport for an early flight and this suited us nicely. We had a room with a double for my wife and me and a pull out for the kids.
