Belle Normandy

Our family spent four nights recently at the Belle Normandy and greatly enjoyed our stay. It was very quaint and within walking distance to everything in the adorable town of Bayeux. We had a car and they had plenty of parking and the morning breakfasts were an excellent way to start the busy day!

What a great place! We chose this place because it was in the village - and we could walk around this charming little town. Even better, they were hosting a light festival on the back side of the church to music ~ even our teenage boys were impressed! Great location, and easy access to visit Omaha Beach, Point du Hoc and even Mont St Michel. The rooms were very spacious - we had two family suites, and were very pleased with the accomodations.

Fantastic hotel!!! Rooms are enormous, easily fit our family of five with room to spare. Best breakfast we had in France. Super friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to cathedral/Bayeaux center. Personalized note from the Staff with candies on arrival.

This hotel is great. The location was close to everything but in a quiet location. It appears to be family owned and everyone staffing the hotel was friendly, polite and very accommodating. The owner even offered to drive us to the train station if the cab was late. The exterior of the hotel has old work charm but the interior is newly remodeled and very modern. Great hotel!!

We loved our time at Belle Normandy and wish we could’ve stayed longer! We received a very warm welcome at reception after a long drive. She was so friendly! Our room was absolutely beautiful and everything was modern/clean/comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. The location is perfect and easy walking distance to the quaint downtown and restaurants. We’ve been telling all of our family and friends that the town of Bayeux is a great destination and that this hotel is definitely the place to stay!

We found the hotel to be charming and the staff went out of their way to create a warm and memorable experience. They helped us with restaurant suggestions and reservations. Scheduling taxis and transfers and making us feel like we were part of a family.

We were able to get a family room, which had a bedroom for us and a living room with twin pullout beds for our teenage kids. The hotel is walking distance, a few blocks, from all the key sites in Bayeux including the tapestry, as well as numerous restaurants. They offer an excellent continental breakfast. The historic building is renovated beautifully with all modern amenities and off street parking option.
