Hotel Eiffel Seine

Tiny elevator, where two people and one small suitcase barely fit. We couldn't use stairs because it was blocked due to construction. Instead of one room for 2 adults 2 kids, we were in two separate rooms (at the end of the hallway). Breakfast was less than mediocre. But it was great that they stored our luggage until the rooms were ready.

The hotel is super close to the Eiffel Tower, which is great but our room faced the metro transit which is very noisy. My husband was pick pocketed literally in the hotel's door. He was bombarded by a teen with a large backpack who shoved into his front against the door and wedged in the glass door, while a child or a short teen picked his wallet. This was our first second in Paris after paying the cabdriver and entering the hotel. It was done so fast that my husband didn't even realize at the moment what was happening. The staff was very friendly but stated there is nothing you can really do. Needless to say, I was nervous the rest of the trip as if I was robbed, we would have no money or credit cards or passports.......I know it's commonplace over there but it was still an uneasy feeling. I could see if it was on the street or on transit but in the hotel doors? Not good! The hotel was pretty and clean but I think this incident just clouds any star qualities to give a great rating.
