Due to the Spa access times we were not allowed to go into the pool during the afternoon with our children. They’ve been very unfriendly and rude about it. On the second day of our stay we got kicked out of the pool. When talking to the staff at the reception about us being asked to leave they were completely overwhelmed and again not very friendly. Elevator was also not functioning well.

Came here for a few days as the first leg of our family vacation. The staff was very helpful and the place was so clean. Our rooms were comfortable and clean as well. Despite being close to the gondola, the area is very quiet but has a great location. Definitely recommend this.

Terrible location takes 45mins to get to nearest ski lift, no shuttle offered have to walk to a bus stop and catch a very packed bus.
First room they put me in which was a family room sleeps four the bathroom was tiny you could not even properly close the door unless you stepped to the side

I stayed with my teenage daughter and we were really comfortable. The room was large and very well equipped (although there was no mini fridge there). The toiletries were really lovely.
All around the hotel you had free hot drinks and water. I really enjoyed the cappuccino from the machine. The ski shop is very good. The ski bus is just outside the hotel. The spa in the hotel is the best one I have ever been to with sauna, ice room, ice bath, Hammam and a pool. It was great after a day of skiing just to relax there with a drink. The only negative was the breakfast. We paid 18euros each and we were told that our omelettes were not included into this. We were disappointed with the lack of choice and the fact that it was not included in the price of our stay.
However there are plenty of local shops and restaurants around that we took advantage of.
We would definitely come back but only if the hotel can accept our family dog.

Our stay was delightful, the cleanliness was above and beyond, they provided many towels, bath robes, slippers and toiletries. The hot chocolate and ice cream was a lovely complimentary treat. The spa and swimming pool facility made our stay even more enjoyable as for the kids who loved it very much.

A really enjoyable stay. It was perfect for our family holiday and being central in Chamonix was great. Will be back!

One of the best hotels we stayed during our 1 month trip around Europe. Spacious, clean, great amenities (all Nuxe), plenty of activities for kids (family friendly) and right next to the cable car entrance. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Chamonix who wants a friendly family vibe, clean and new(ish) hotel!

The hotel is hard to find at night, the address listed on Expedia is not correct, it is on Route Blanche. When we discussed with the front desk, they said we should have checked their website. True, we should have.
The hotel itself is lovely, and cozy, and the location in Chamonix is excellent, just a few steps from the cable car station for Aiguille du Midi.
The staff are kind and helpful, we especially liked the breakfast host. And the porter who helped us with our bags and helped us find the parking garage.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend Heliopic. It's lovely, comfortable, and caters to families, which there were many.
One other note: If you're coming to Chamonix from the direction of Turin be careful to check the access to the Mont Blanc tunnel. We foolishly expected it to be open on Oct 23rd, had to reroute to the St. Bernard Tunnel in Switzerland, which added two hours of night driving to our arrival , so we arrived at the hotel around 10pm super road weary. some warning from Expedia or the hotel would have been appreciated. When we brought this up, we were told that they were not responsible to advise guests of this. Also true. However, be advised readers, to check this out before you arrive.
