Fantastic property to relax with the family. Plenty of places to walk nearby as well as shopping and restaurants.
I am coming back soon and won’t stay anywhere else whilst visiting Cyprus

We stayed for a week at the Elysium. We are a quite well-travelled family, and we spend around two month a year in hotels. The Elysium might not be the most luxurious hotel, nor the hotel with the nicest decor, best facilities or restaurants, but it is unfaillingly the hotel with the best service we have ever stayed in.
Nothing is a problem. Everything can be fixed. The staff of Elysium are extremely professional, friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. From the waiters and the managers in the breakfast restaurant, the receptionists, bellboys and staff in the Opium Spa. They all take interest and pride in making your stay a pleasure.
And it really was. Thank you!

Such a gorgeous hotel. Lovely place and wonderful staff. Disappointed by the spa this is basically an indoor pool and jacuzzi with steam and saunda chambers. Pool and jacuzzi are available to kids most of the day so not a relaxing retreat at all. But the treatment area was nice. Evening music is nice but gets a bit boring. Pool table is availible but not great. Fortunately, there is a strip of bars and restaurants 5 minute walk away for a more lively evening outside of the hotel if you desire. Food and drinks are expensive, but the food is probably worth it- fantastic! Cleanliness, staff service and other amenities all excellent. Overall we really like the hotel and had a wonderful stay.

This property is truly excellent. The pools and location by the sea with garden area are beautiful. Food options and quality are great with the breakfast buffet, pool bar and then quality buffet, Italian, Mediterranean and Asian restaurants in the evening. Amazing sunsets to watch in the gorgeous terrace bar (seaview room definitely worth the extra). However it is the staff that really makes it special. They are so friendly and helpful, remember your room number, preferences and couldn’t do more to help you with a smile and it is everyone from the reception, concierge, pool staff, waiters and waitresses, cleaners etc. They were amazing with my disabled mum (had a mobility room) and 6 month old baby (quality infant items in the room and help creating purée food as she was starting to wean). Will definitely be going back.

We booked a room with partial See view and as Gold member qualified for an upgrade. The first room they offered us faced the parking lot and a construction side. We refused to take this room. The only better option was to take a room above the entrance, facing again a parking lot. From the very side corner of the balcony you overlooked the construction area and behind that the ocean.
The only other option they offered us was a junior suit that would have cost more than 300€ more per night.
I was quite disappointed!!!
The hotel was very clean an the staff was always very friendly. Only exception was the staff at the reception they could have been more helpful.
The spa was very nice but quite expensive! A massage costs 105-158€.
Breakfast was very nice but there is no variation. Staff always very friendly.
Pool area is very well maintained a great place to swim and relax.
We used the fitness center every day unfortunately the room for the free yoga and Pilates classes are very small. Only 6-9 people could join the group classes and the classes were always preoccupied by club members who booked very well ahead. The day we could join because we were on the waiting list there were people who took three courses in a row, no wonder that there wasn’t a place for hotel guests.
We enjoyed the Pilates class a lot. Very nice work out.
Around the hotel there were a lot of construction areas. But it was always quiet.
Food in the restaurants was always good but also expensive

The hotel is very clean, the service is great, there is 4 restaurants with variaty of food. The hotel gives water twice a day to the room, the have baby sets for every meal. You don't need to leave the hotel at all, there is everything.

Have been going to Elysium on and off since it opened 20 years ago and got married there 5 yrs ago.. unfortunately it is starting to get dated, things aren’t maintained as best they could, for example the rain shower in room didn’t work. I have seen a great deal of change where management seem to be cutting costs, pool area is looking tired, tiles missing - doesn’t appear to be cleaned that frequently, chlorine is thrown in at night but it’s not vacuumed, if you hadn’t stayed previously you may not at first notice, but the wooden sun beds are in need of repair, the cushions are worn and tired.the management have cut back on staff, there used to be a sunglass cleaner, and ‘lifeguards’ on duty to stop children running around the pool area & jumping off a wall into pool - maybe they may take notice if an accident were to happen. It’s such a shame to see this much loved hotel go into an unloved state.. on a plus side the staff are fantastic and have been there years, they are what makes this hotel.. I stayed at 2 other 4 star hotels on this trip and they were in much better condition and cleaner and you would say were 5 star compared to the Elysium, in my opinion the only thing that now makes the Elysium a 5 star hotel is the price and I would have to think long and hard about staying here again which is such a shame after visiting over 10 times in the past 20 years and it holds special memories by getting married there. Unfortunately the Elysium hotel has lost its sparkle..

What a lovely get away. Perfect for a couple of days with family. It's a big hotel and the downside is that in some times you'll be missing privacy and slow pace. Overall highly recommend for staying with your family as to many activities for kids including nanny service. Reassure you book the restaurant well in advance this given the room rate you pay the hotel should be asking this as additional guests service.
