We loved our stay at the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort. It's beautiful, spacious, modern and just has good energy. We were on the ground level facing the pool and even though there was always something happening outside, we had peace and quiet in the room. It was spacious enough for my two teenage kids, husband and myself, cleaned daily. The beach was our favorite place but both pools are great too and the lobby by the reception was a relaxing place to sit and chill with complementary orange juice (our favorite refreshment). We really wanted to try and eat local food but after trying the local bakery and eating at La Boheme (not sure why it has so many good reviews) we ended up eating mostly in the hotel. Salty Iguana (the beach bar) was our favorite and service was always good, menu had nice choices for the whole family but maybe consistency of how food was prepared needs some attention (sometimes pizza dough was not the best or French fries were not cooked long enough). We also tried Zala gastro lounge (Asian fusion restaurant) but were underwhelmed with the service and especially the food. The portions were so small, every meal lacked "something" in order to make it complete and the prices were too high even for Curacao. I have to mention Morning vibes- local breakfast food truck that had amazing waffles and sandwiches and prices were quite decent. We rented a car so we can visit other beaches but we were always happy to return to Marriott and have a chill afternoon.

It was beautiful.
I will say that the little bar restaurant by the pool area, too many kids or not enough adult presence. I did not know who the supervisor was. I will say, the young folks were pleasant and kind. I understand opportunity and chances, but if there is no direction, they all over the place.
I still give 10 stars, just tighten up that area, but still have the chill vibe, music, laughter etc

Spent 1 week there with my husband and our 2 kids (2 and 4 years old) and have had our best family vacation ever!! We have traveled to many other carribean islands before but this one was totally at a different level!! All the staff were so nice, extremely polite and helpful!! Special mention to Nicole (pool service) and Olya (gym trainer). We cannot recommend this place enough!!! Loved every single minute of it!

Perfect vacation for a family of 4 with small children. Worth noting- the room a/c had no trouble keeping up (not always the case!)

They did not have both of my rooms ready until 6 PM at our arrival and check in is 4 PM. This is a horrible thing to do to guests. Especially guests with small children.
The internet/wifi works well on most of the property. However, it does cut in some areas.
This hotel could not guarantee a request made 2 weeks prior of rooms close together or adjoining. They should be able to put guests at ease with a request of this sort.
This hotel does not offer an airport shuttle nor shuttles into town.
One of my rooms was not cleaned on day one (Friday). Two of my rooms were not cleaned on day three (Sunday).
One of our rooms was not cleaned again on our second Saturday 1/13/24. The rooms never felt clean. There was always sand on the floors as well as in the beds, even right after housekeeping cleaned them.
Although I informed staff on 5 occasions that the batteries in my access lock were low they waited until we couldn’t get into one of our rooms on day two before changing them, leaving me locked out of my own room.
Very poor bathroom design. An open concept closet is in the toilet which gets defecated in by all family members all day long…not where you want your clothes hanging.
The beach is pretty but you need water shoes if you want to try to go in with less risk of injury.
The pools are quite cold. They feel a little colder than the ocean.
You eat better in town for less money.
I would not go back to this hotel.

Breakfast & sushi is really great. Definitely try it. The bar in the evening is a dream.
The room was large, modernly furnished and the bathroom was really clean.
Unfortunately the staff is divided into two parts. Half of them are super friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, the other half doesn't feel like doing the job at all and lets the guests feel this too. A real shame!
The transfer from the airport to the hotel did not work, even though it was registered and confirmed in writing. At the airport we had to wait over 30 minutes at night with our 1-year-old daughter for an available taxi.
Unfortunately we also had to ask for a baby bed 3 times. After 1.5 days this was finally set up.

Beautiful beaches, clean and practical hotel room, nice family pool (the water was perfect temperature), good food. The service was hit or miss at the restaurants. Food is pricey since they use US dollars but we expected that. Stephanie, the guest relations supervisor, was wonderful. Helped us organize some taxis and was very responsive. She definitely made us feel more special. I would definitely go back!

Absolutely beautiful resort, two separate pools for adults and adults with children. Nightly entertainment was awesome, resort on the beach and infinity (serenity) pool. Cabana's available to all at no additional charge. Close to the Capital Willemstad,.

The experience I had at the Marriott Curacao was terrible. The booking I made was for all-inclusive, however at check-in I found out the booking was not all-inclusive and I was told to call Expedia. After 4 hours speaking agents, they told me that my booking included food & beverages. I learned the Marriott defines food as the mini-fridge in our room, which was empty. Beverages means the coffee machine in the room. The hotel confirmed at check-in breakfast was included with our stay. We then later had to fight to get breakfast charges removed from our folio. Warning 2: Take photos of all your receipts and remember everything you order. Several times I was double charged for drinks and snacks at the pool bar, grab n’ go shop, and lobby bar. The staff will tell you that you have to sign the bill, even when you pay cash for administrative purposes. Do not believe this. They will double charge you. It happened to me multiple times. WARNING 3: I had to provide my Bonvoy # 4 times and it still wasn't added, and I didn't get the invite to the cocktail hour for members. WARNING 4: The fire alarm went off 2 times throughout one of the nights, in the middle of the night. There was no direction on whether to evacuate or leave our rooms. I have a toddler, so this was quite worrying and then the fear of the unknown. Was there actually a fire? Overall, we booked this vacation to have a stress-free, worry-free, relaxing holiday in paradise. Instead, it was the exact opposite.
