Disappointed with the state of bedsheets and pillowcases. There were apparent stains- did not appear like the sheets were changed. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, and delivered new sheets, which again were with stains. The third set of sheets were clean. It resulted in the family going to sleep very late at night following a long flight from home. House keeping changed sheets according to their scheduled third day of our stay, and again we had the same issue - dirty linen that needed to be changed again. Other than the issue with the linens, overall experience was good. Nice beach front property, away from the crowds. The beach here is a bit more rocky with weeds vs the 7-mile beach area but overall good property.

Beach is full of seaweed. They clean it once in the morning but it is not enough. Barely can enjoy the beach due to it. Staff wasn’t very friendly. Buildings are old. No sliding doors on the property. Very expensive property for very lackluster amenities. Went with family but they couldn’t accommodate adjacent rooms so we were spread all around. Wouldn’t visit again.

Its fair to say that we enjoyed the stay in Wyndham over all. But there were many issue people should be aware. First, when I booked the stay here, I clearly indicated that its 2 adults and 4 year old child. Expedia showed us available rooms, I picked the first with king size bed, our son sleeps with us. I paid, we were excited. When I checked us in, receptionist was very surprised that we have son. I booked the hotel indicating with have a child! He informed me that we HAVE to upgrade room to huge appartment and pay extra 300! We got room with multiple beds, big kitchen and living room. Yeah, room was nice but we didn't need it and were forced into it.Second issue was local supermarket. Receptionist suggested to buy food there, omg. Every produce was moldy and old, everything was overpriced comparing to George Town stores, dont waste your time going there. Hotel is right on the beach but its a side with a lot of seaweed and they dont clean it every day. Hotel Restaurant is good but they switched our bills with another customer. We didnt realize it because they dont give you receipt with prices of what you got but only the final price. We left, went back to our room and got ready for bed. Suddenly phone started to ring, we didnt want to answer it since we didnt expect any phone call but it was harrasing us, we andwered, no apology just we will charge your room, if you are interested, come for receipt. Weird.
Pools were clean and nice, activities were great, good coffee shop

Fantastic property for a family vacation, away from the hustle of Georgtown and Seven Mile beach. Property is very well maintained, staff is amazing, and rooms are spacious and all with an ocean view. Snorkeling is great and food options at the priperty and around, even though not abundant, are fantastic.

My husband and I stayed 8 nights at this resort. The staff here makes up for anything being "outdated" - we walked in and were greeted with a huge smile and "Welcome!" by Miriam (the concierge). She is a delight. We checked in with Pamie who was equally delightful. Big smile, friendly and fun. Many comments in the reviews talk about needing an update, but honestly we felt the accommodations were great - they care for the beach daily, we loved the location (away from the "big city") and every room has an ocean view. Each morning we sat on our patio and enjoyed coffee and each night we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean.
We did not do the all-inclusive because we spent our days roaming the island and getting in as much snorkeling as possible (good snorkeling from Morritt's dock to Wyndham dock). However, we did do Karaoke night and a lunch at the beach bar, and breakfast twice at Tides restaurant. All good experiences! The servers were all super sweet and attentive.
They also had local artists come one day and set up shop - which I loved! 😍 I was able to get a painting from a local - much better than something made in China sold in a souvenirs shop. A woman also had beautiful jewelry, leather bags and wood decor. A man was selling beautiful pens hand crafted. Definitely worth checking out even if you're not staying here!
A friend recommended Wyndham to us and we would recommend it to our friends and family. The employees made us feel at home!

We enjoyed staying at the Wyndham Reef Resort. It is not fancy but clean and comfortable. We liked the extra space of the apartment with our child. The pier and snorkeling right off the beach on the property were great - tons of fish to see! It is located on the opposite of 7mile beach (45 mins by car) but closer to other activities that we enjoyed a lot like the bioluminescent tour, stingray city and crystal caves.

Absolutely fantastic experience for the whole family! Rooms were spacious, comfortable & clean. We played hours of volleyball in the pool & on the sand court. Buffet was tasty w options that made everyone happy. Concierge was super helpful with activities, restaurants, reccommendations & reservations. Convenient for diving with Ocean Frontiers (which was top-notch dive operator on the East End) Will definitely stay here again!

I went on a trip to the Caymans with my cousin. Overall, the hotel was ok. I am rather picky with hotels and I was ok with this place. It's not a fancy hotel, but it is clean and it is located right on the beach so all rooms are beach front (either a patio or a balcony). We had a studio with a king bed and there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer etc. The area is very quiet, which suited us well (the majority of the clientele is families and older couples). If you are looking for a busier area I recommend the 7 Mile Beach area, which is absolutely gorgeous. If you are going to stay here you should definitely rent a car - the hotel is located about 45 minutes from the airport. The hotel offers a roundtrip cab fare for two for a total of $US120. Instead, we rented a car for $160 plus insurance and it was definitely worth it since it allowed us to explore the whole island and not just stay put. There are two pool areas, which are ok - nothing fancy here either. Two days a week they offer yoga classes at the pool, which was fun. There is also a gym and a spa, but we did not check out either. The beach is nice, but 7 Mile Beach is a whole lot better.
