Spa et Hôtel le Finlandais

The room was ok, clean and confortable. Fan of the AC unit was set to high and couldn't be change, very noisy. One of the bead frame was making a craking and squeaky sound. Their was a loud family reunion between midnight to 1 o'clock in the corridor near our room. The hotel advertise that it's a non-smoking environment, not true, the swiming pool area and balcony's over the pool area, everybody was smoking. For are first time it was not a greath experience, hopefully if there is a next time it will be different.

Very good time spent in the hotel. The outside pool and pool area is nice, great to relax in the afternoon. Spa looks inviting. We were there for an event in the area so no time to spend there. Lots to do around: There is a park just beside the hotel with access to the water so bring you paddle board or canoe. Nice restaurants and coffeehouses to discover in the area. Room is good, clean, not big but enough for a family of 4 on a weekend trip. I really like the hard laminate floor. Feels healthier than the usual hotel carpet, if you know what I mean. The AC is a little noisy but it was hot outside and it kept the room cool, so that's the price of having it. Overall a very good experience. Will come back for sure.

Not recommended specifically with kids. Its too dark. The pictures are not accurate all the pictures are for the spa across the street wich not related to them. In front of the hotel entrance big construction. The beds are uncomfortable

Very close to spa, wish we would have upgraded to bigger room as the junior room is pretty small

Have stayed here four times over many years as it is close to a family home. This was the best as we lucked into a balcony overlooking the pool, with river views. It was quiet, immaculately clean, large rooms, and friendly staff. Nice breakfast options in a large, well kept room. If you arrive late, parking can be tricky as individual spaces wrap around the property, but there were enough. Prices very reasonable. Look forward to future stays.

Review is based on hotel stay only. Upon checking in into our room, I immediately noticed the floors were dirty. There were debris and hair everywhere. Normally we are not picky, but we had our crawling baby with us, so requested that housecleaning come up for a vaccuum. After they vacuumed and mopped it, it made a big difference so it leads me to believe the floors were not even cleaned. Then we noticed a few ants crawling around, but didnt mind it. By the next morning, there were many ants along the floor boards and some on the window sill. A few even got onto a table where we laid out clean food utensils. The staff were friendly, but when i told them about the ant issue, they didnt even seem bothered or offered a discount.
