Hôtel Champlain Vieux Québec

Fantastic family accommodation. We were traveling with two teenagers and stayed for 4 nights. We booked the loft, which is essentially a fully stocked apartment. It has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, queen bed, pullout sofa, and separate bedroom with a twin bed. The queen bed and pullout sofa are part of the open concept area so afford no privacy. There is a dressing area with many shelves and room for a families luggage and items with space to spare. Pros: Large accomodation Full kitchen and dining Partial views of the Chateau Frontenac Great location Cons: No privacy for the queen bed Tile in the bathroom is chipping and missing in places No elevator to several of the suites, including the 3rd floor loft

Great location for our 4 days in Quebec City. We were there for a cruise that was boarding on Friday. We did not need a car, everything on old Quebec was in easy walking distance. We were on the 5th (top) floor, facing east. There is a school that our window look out on. One morning the children gathered for an assembly & were lead in several songs. Their voices were angelic. But if you like to sleep in, I world recommend asking for a west facing room because the school lets the kids start playing on the grounds around 7:30am. However, the view from our east facing room was beautiful. We didn't opt for the breakfast option. The bed was very comfortable & the water pressure was good with plenty of hot water.

This was a great option for a family vacation. The staff was super nice and helpful and the location is super convenient to access different points.

The location of this property was perfect. It was our home base fir exploring Le Vieux Québec. My french isn't very good, and they only spoke english when needed. I think they respected my efforts as i respected them allowing my efforts. Of course it was different with each person. They were very friendly, very helpful, and i would most definitely stay there again. It seemed very rich for the price we paid. Even the kids (13 and 16) were in awe of the hotel and the location.

Parking was too small and i called 2 times to confirm the car Ibhad and they said it was ok. It did not fit. I have a baby with me so it was difficult to walk uphill to find another parking

Quiet and clean hotel in a safe and excellent location. Having onsite parking is a bonus. Pleasant and helpful staff. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends and look forward to returning.
