We came for the eclipse, and the staff was excellent- very accommodating even though it was the “off season”. The hotel was great for families, and in a convenient location in a beautiful setting!

Our family of 4 had one night stay in the family room (one queen bed that’s smaller than our queen bed at home plus a twin bunk bed).
The hotel is on a higher level than the main road, the view is really nice. During the night, we went out to watch the stars (meteor shower season). It was too cloudy so it wasn’t successful but we saw a deer instead.
The corridor has a funny smell, dust or moisture, unsure, but not in our room. The room is clean. The kids loved the bunk bed and it was good that they had a separate area. The rest of room is quit small: just enough space for a bed, two small nightstands, a small office table (like in the picture) and one single chair, and a portable air conditionner. It is the type of room to relaxe at the end of the day; so forget about an in-room family dinner for lack of furnitures.
We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. The gym is small.
The breakfast is included, nothing fancy: toast, bagel, fresh fruits, homeade jams, cereals, milk, coffee and juice. There was also freshly baked viennoiseries that were gone within minutes. The homemade
cakes attracted too many flies.
Special mention about the welcoming attitude of the staffs and EV chargeur.

The family rooms are nice. You can bring your kids and still stay up after they go to bed. The restaurant makes good food. Pretty plates and tasty 😋

Property is halfway between town and ski hill - convenient to both. Rooms were clean; thoughtful to have lots of wall hooks with rubber mats for shoes so snow doesn't get everywhere. Breakfasts got a little repetitive - if you were staying there for awhile, you might want some variety. The gym was dusty; no one had cleaned in there awhile. Outdoor hot tub nice and sauna was neat. Staff was bilingual and pleasant. No elevator, so if staying on the second floor, keep that in mind. Stayed in the family room which was nice for us and teenage son.

Horizon provided us with a perfect room with 2 children! Bunk beds in a separate smaller space was more than perfect. We really loved the continental breakfast. The pool was nice!

Nice, clean hotel. Loved the family room with the bunk beds for the kids. We stayed in the winter time. There were passes to "plein air sutton" in our room which can be used to go take a nice walk up in the hill directly from the hotel or to go cross-country skiing. Also, there is an ice rink in the back of the hotel with a fire pit. Greatly enjoyed our family winter mini-vacation !!!

This was supposed to be a fun little local getaway with my 2 young children (3 years old and 6 months old). The cabin is cute and it’s in a nice location in the woods. However, do not stay here if you want a comfortable nights sleep or if you don’t want to make your beds, undo the beds, wash your dishes, sweep the floors and take your garbage to the dump. Upon arrival, we had to make the beds, which is unacceptable, this is a hotel. This means everyone who stays here touches the bare pillows, mattress and duvet. That’s disgusting. We then read a note saying we had to undo the beds, wash the dishes, sweep the floors and take the trash to the dump or we would be charged. If I wanted to clean, I would of stayed home. Of course we did all of that because we didn’t want the charge but we have a toddler and a baby. Are you kidding me?
