Having booked a room with two queen beds for my family (wife and two children), we arrived to be told we had been selected for a special upgrade to a superior king suite. This translated into a room with a king size bed and a sofa bed - the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. When I returned to reception that evening to say I didn't want the upgrade and instead, the room configuration I'd booked, they informed me that they didn't have any double queen rooms available. Disorganised and dishonest. I had to push quite hard for any type of compensation, and eventually was given a meal in the restaurant. I won't be rushing back.

We loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and the facilities (pool and gym) were great. Breakfast was amazing - well worth the cost. It is in walking distance of union station, CN tower and plenty of nice places to eat. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend for families.

Stayed for 11 nights (2 adults, 2 kids) Great size room which was very clean on arrival, had fridge, kettle, safe. Nice 5 min walk from main train station. Staff very helpful and went out their way to get kids hot chocolate! Would book again if we return to Toronto.

Nice location for coming to town to see a concert at Scotiabank Arena. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Hotel was in a loud-ish location. We could hear music outside until 2am. People in nearby rooms and with children and people in hallway were very loud, but that can happen anywhere. Would be nice if parents kept their kids quiet in hallways and hotel rooms before 9am.

My family lived next door for over a decade before we moved out of Toronto. We returned to our old neighbourhood to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were impressed by the renovations done at the Novotel. Staff were friendly. Check in was easy and efficient. The rooms are nice.

Our room was in good condition and we really enjoyed our brief stay. We had booked for 7 nights but had to leave after two due to a family member passing away back home in Australia. The hotel kindly agreed to charge us for two nights only. They were really supportive and considerate. We both really enjoyed our brief stay amd would definitely stay again.

This hotel was super clean and the whole staffing was amazing. The kids even loved how nice everyone was and the free cookies they got. The food and drinks were very good. I’ll stay in this hotel once again.

Great value for money. Really nice hotel in a good spot close to plenty of eateries. Easy walk to Union Station. The kids loved the indoor pool.
