We had a good room. Clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was good food. I think every guest took advantage of the breakfast it was very busy both days we were there. Excellent walkable hotel to a lot of sites and restaurants. One thing I would suggest is to put a Matt or non skid stickers on the bathtub inside my husband almost fell twice. We had to put a towel down in tub to help him from not slipping.

The property was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful!! The continental breakfast included omelet, turkey/pork sausage or bacon, pancakes, bread, oatmeal, cereal and different types of juices.
The parking was $15 per night and it is very accessible with the option of going in and out without an additional cost.
It is extremely close to the subway on King St or Queen street. It is also close to a small park for kids to blow off some steam.

My family of 4 stayed here for a short 4 day visit. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to restaurants, The Lawrence Market, the Eaton Centre mall, Museum of Illusions the Ripley’s Aquarium, CN Tower and shops in the downtown area. It was a short walk to Front Street ( main strip) which we went to daily.
The hotel was very clean. Our 2 Queen bedroom Accomodation had plenty of room for our luggages. We had a great view as well. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We were happy with it.
The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We had many questions since it was our first time in Toronto. We were given maps, directions and guidance using the Tram ( to Kensington Market). They even printed out our boarding passes and reserved a car for us on the day of check out.
The best part of the hotel was the free daily breakfast . It was quite a spread. It contained hot food ( bacon, eggs, biscuits, pancakes, sausage), fruit, muffins, breads, yogurt, oatmeal, and cereals. In addition, there was a coffee and tea area set up during the day for everyone’s convenience. The main floor had plenty of seating and areas to eat, relax and unwind. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase in the lobby.
Overall we were very pleased and would definitely recommend this property 😊

This was a great place for our family of 4. Walkable if you like to walk and wander if not, Uber is easily accessible!! All staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Front desk even called to see how our check in was and to make sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend!

The room, breakfast and staff fully deserve 5 star rating, however, their ad mentions if you require parking to ask at front desk. That’s it.
No mention that it’s an extra $35 or a clearance of only 6.1. So obviously you can’t park your truck there. They did allow us to park in the alley beside the motel (for $35 of course) which felt a lil unsafe with the amount of homeless ppl around but the was security cameras and we could see our truck from our window on the 7th floor. Even getting onto their check in area with a truck was difficult due to the construction going on.
Other negative thing would be that the laundry room was only open till 10 and due to traffic we arrived with only enough time for me to wash n dry one load and the the washer malfunctioned yet. I got instant service to get the problem fixed but I had to buy more tokens for the washing machine which was also an inconvenience versus just coin operated washers.
Very expensive for a holiday inn but it’s downtown toronto. They gave us a courtesy call shortly after check in to see how everything was when we got into room.Very very friendly staff all around.
Great breakfast with biggest selection I’ve seen at holiday inn. Dave in the breakfast area was especially friendly and chatty, engaging our children in conversation after he saw their fascination with the robot cleaners.
Great bed n mattress. Great courtyard view
Keurig with decaf or regular options in room.
Enough towels for everyone in the washroom.

The hotel is clean and staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was a typical buffet. Hot and decent food. It does end at 9:30 which seemed a bit early. The first few days our floor smelled very musty with cleaning supplies after it just rained. A/C was hard to control temperature.
Parking spots where tight but convenient.
Walking distant to several sight seeing location and the park across the street was great for my kids to have a little play time.
Would stay again

This was my second stay here. 4 years ago I was here with my kids and chose it again, and was not disappointed. The property is clean and quiet, though the construction on the surrounding streets meant there was a lot of honking outside, but if you keep your windows closed you barely hear it. The beds are clean and comfortable, the rooms well appointed. I like that they've changed to refillable bottles of soap, wash, shampoo, lotion, etc... The inroom coffee is even good. The free breakfast and coffee is great - plenty of options. Try the cinnamon rolls - they're awesome! Staff is friendly and polite. It was even easy to get Uber eats to deliver, or to catch Ubers. Very walkable to other nearby locations for food and shopping. Wifi was great. Hotel seemed to be busy but I rarely heard a peep from other guests.
Negative: Location is right on the edge of where the neighborhood becomes not so nice, so there are homeless people around and just a block northeast isn't a great place to go exploring. But I didn't feel unsafe. There was a short maybe in some of the lights on the bathroom mirror where they turned off after a second, but it didn't matter to me. We also didn't have shower gel in the refillable bottle but since we had our own I didn't ask for it to be filled. I did see the cleaning staff every morning and she asked if we needed anything, so not her fault at all - we declined service for the days we were there since we barely needed it.
