Highly recommend! The top resort in Muskoka. The food is delicious in both the restaurant and the pub. The amount of activities available and included in the stay, makes for a very fun time up north. Whether you are visiting with kids or as a couple, the place has everything. We really enjoyed the newly renovated pool, hot tub and saunas, and cocktails in the lobby bar.

Fantastic little family or couples resort - I love that it has that intimate feel- food was very very good- the free breakfast was such a nice thing - makes it a really great deal- and breakfast was well done - surpassed my expectations. Jason the RMT massage therapist is beyond words and my traps and neck have never felt better- I’ve had a lot of massage and he is right at the top - so gifted! Loved the outdoor barrel saunas with a view. Great stay - will be back!

Lots of character! Yet no charm no private beach no jacuzzi smell of propane anywhere around the pool or tennis court. TV channels were limited ancient and we only had access to every other channel. Cleaning missed our room when we were gone for 6 hours. The hotel was ancient terrible view for 90 percent of the hotel. Very bland and righout ugly hallways. Wanted to treat my family to a nice vacation was served a retirement home 0 kid friendliness. Food was overpriced 50$ for a small plate of bland spaghetti. Best part of the whole thing was the breakfast buffet. Will not be coming back extremely dissapointed.

We stayed for three nights. At 325 per night I do not see the value. Pool was limited in seating and could be updated with seating. Too many young families if your looking for a quiet adult location. Room 305 was small, no dresser/ night tables and lighting for night time reading. Water pressure for bathroom sink was a trickle and hot water for shower was only present for one of us and that was mid afternoon. Do not stay in room 305 not worthy of the price of 325 per night .

Outstanding summer vacation with family! Everything was perfect. The room, view, service and food. Property grounds are immaculate. Amazing amenities on property, pool, beach, tennis, pickle ball and golf.
You will love every minute spent at the Windermere house. My only suggestion is to upgrade lounge furniture by the pool with a few more loungers and umbrellas. Will be back again and again to this hotel!

Amazing stay! Room was very nice and cozy, clean and bright. Lots to do for everyone - kids had a blast - pool, beach, paddle boarding. Great dining! Relaxing and enjoyable. Friendly stuff, goes above and beyond.
For sure will come here again!
