Ramada by Wyndham Cornwall

Lovely stop off with huge pool for lots of family fun. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

We were provided a 2 queen bedroom on the ground floor. The room felt spacious and clean. The staff was amiable and the very welcoming buffet-style breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The kids enjoyed the gym and swimming pool area for hours. We would stay here again.

When checking in , the lobby was full of children and families. Assumed it was a tournament which happen at this time of the year. We requested to be away from the busy area if possible. The clerk seemed to be struggling to manage but said we would be away from the group. When we walked to our room there was a hockey game going on in front of our door. I called down and told the clerk that it was not okay as we had a long travel day. He threatened to kick us out of the hotel and said “ this is Boxing Day, I’m not dealing with this “. He then said he was going to hang up and if I wanted I could call back in five minutes and “try again”. I have travelled extensively my whole long life and have never experienced this. My hope is that this young man will have a well needed break or holiday as he clearly was not managing well. We stayed the night as we were exhausted. The clerk in the morning was very nice as was the breakfast room staff. Unfortunately, the anger and outburst of the clerk has left a bad taste so we will not return to that location in the future.

This is our second time staying here. It suited our needs for visiting family in the area. However, there is no elevator!! Carrying luggage for a family of five up two flights of stairs is not easy!

After a ten hour drive we arrived at the hotel to find the pool was closed and the wifi was not working so it made for a long night with 3 kids.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The entire hotel was full of people living there with kids playing and screaming in the hallway all night long. Twice I had to go to my car to get some things and each time I was taunted by men in the entrance ways. The doors were off the hinges in my room. The restaurant was closed. I looked out the window a few times during the night because it was too loud to sleep and there were people looking in the car windows at my things.

Fabulous room, clean and the free water was nice. The hot tub needs to be fixed for usage. The pool was nice and lots of shallow area for children. A wonderful stay and great staff. Thank you for the late check out

Very clean and comfy hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable stay. We had some pricing issues at checking. They offered us a free upgrade to the jr suite. It was beautiful. What a wonderful experience for our family. We had one of the best evenings on our trip. Very memorable stay. Decent breakfast as well, even though a bit crowded. Overall a very well-maintained, friendly, generous hotel. Thumb-ups to the management and staffs.

Amazing rooms, well maintained and clean. Very friendly staff and a lovely hot breakfast. Don’t miss out if you are visiting Cornwall. We stayed overnight with family and it was absolutely worth it.

The staff were all super helpful. Not just to my family, just noticed in general how much they cared about making sure all the guests were taken care of. Great job.
