Delta Hotels by Marriott St. John's Conference Centre

We requested a room away from all elevators and they put us directly in front of the elevators. Also kids running around , slamming doors, yelling from the top of their lungs all hours of the night. Brutal night stay!!!!

Place was nice kids loved it but in the bathroom of 328 there was mold on the ceiling and it was a fair size

Beautiful, spacious and cleanly hotel. Great staff and great food. Situated next to the downtown pedestrian mall with a variety of restaurants and shopping. The kids loved that the hotel had a pool. I give it a 5 star.

Older hotel but many renos and upgrades to keep it modern. Location is great, staff were very friendly. My partner and I booked here for a romantic getaway. We mostly booked this hotel because of location and the pool/hot tub. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the pool or hot tub because there were so many kids jumping, splashing, and playing in the hot tub (despite the sign on the wall stating children under 16 are not allowed). There were no staff around to enforce the rules. Then the pool was closed on the second day of our stay. I probably wont book again for that reason, and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation/staycation. Fine for anyone going to an event downtown though and not planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay. There was only 1 issue the entire time, and that was not the fault of the hotel or the staff, well kinda..... A large group of preteens came to the pool while myself and some friends/other guests, the parents stayed outside of the pool area and let them take full control of the pool. The noise volume was incredible. These children were not only unaccompanied, they were rude. These kids were out of control, screaming and running around, no adult in sight. They wanted the hot tub which we were using so they proceeded to run up to us screaming and acting like animals until we got up and left. We were not ready to leave, but the noise was deafening. When we got up, these children started to cheer, and scream "Yes, now we can use the hot tub!!" We paid for our stay too, we were trying to relax at the end of a long day. Those kids were awful. I was sitting with a group of women that between the 5 of us, have 4 teenagers or our own and even we could not handle the situation. The safety of these kids was a large concern for us, as there were no adult with them. If one of them got hurt, who was going to help them. It really put a damper on our last night there. we ended up going up to one of our rooms and staying there. We left feeling bullied out of relaxation by preteens. It was not an ok situation. Perhaps having a staff member on during pool hours would be beneficial to the other guest when you have such large groups of kids staying in the hotel.

We had a great time at the Delta. The view was amazing!! The kids enjoyed the pool a lot and the adults the sauna! The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious!! We would totally stay there again!

No bell cap service. I had to handle my own luggage. I witness a lady with 2 young children struggle with the luggage carrier while not one, but 3 male employees stood in front with their hands folded and never offered to assist her. I am not sure what purpose they served unless they expected someone to steal something. Waste of money paying these employees, there must be someone in St. John's that need a job and willing to work.
