Saint Andrews Inn & Suites

The double room/suite was ok, but a bit small for 5 people. The hotel did not have cots for rent for a small kid. The 2 tvs in the suite did not work that great. There were signs in a few places in the room about extra charges if you didn’t leave something clean (e.g. the dishes). The pool was freezing because the heater broke and my kids couldn’t use the pool. I booked that hotel because of the pool so it was a waste of money. The staff are mostly unhelpful and they hate dogs - told me it was a pet free place, even though the website says it is pet friendly. They also told me I should « manage » the fact that my small child did not have a cot to sleep on, but then they gave me an extra comforter and blanket to put in the floor for her. I think I’ll pay a bit extra for the Algonquin next time.

For a quaint seaside hotel in a small town this was a great stay. Very welcoming and clean. Enjoyed our stay for a family event..
